Roves gift basket for the Seattle Times
By Michelle Malkin August 20, 2007 02:09 PM
Remember the fair, objective journalists at the Seattle Times who
cheered Karl Roves resignation? Via the
Media Blog and
HA Headlines, heres news in
Howard Kurtzs WaPo column of Roves farewell gift:
In an embarrassment to the industry, some staffers at a Seattle Times news meeting cheered when Roves resignation was announced. To his credit, Editor David Boardman made the incident public and warned that staff meetings should not evolve into a liberal latte klatch. Rove responded by sending a basket of cookies to the newsroom, with a note saying my wife shares in your enthusiasm.
I think a basket of pacifiers would have been more appropriate. How about you?

Reminds me of Ollie North and the Iran Contra hearings
Seems the reporters were camped outside his house night and day
Ollie’s wife sent out a plate of cookies for them
They fed some to Ollie’s dog before they ate them because they were afraid they might be poisoned

WOW......
I suppose this comes about as a result of intentionally manipulating and fraudulently spinning news for so many decades.....they know full well that they are engaged in a giant lie and have developed a persecution complex to help them deal with their own very real guilt.

The names Bush or Rove will transform a normal looking person into someone that starts raising their voice, turns red, and starts sputtering with fury because they cant get their hateful rants out fast enough.Just a couple of harmless loveable guys.

Our Objective Liberal Stone Age Press. How childishly pathetic. Should have sent some milk too.
Did anyone here hate the clintons as much as Liberals hate President Bush??
Pray for W and Our Troops

"I dont recall any Clinton staffers or operatives sending flowers, cookies, cakes, etc. to Fox News, The Washington Times, The Weekly Standard, National Review, etc. etc. after they left."No they didn't send flowers etc. to the media they just left a gift for President Bush and the tax payers by trashing and vandalizing many of the taxpayer-purchased and government-owned facilities in the White House offices where they worked. One of the things they did was remove all the W off the keyboards.
