CBS ^ | Aug 17, 2007 | Staff

(AP) LOS ANGELES Steven Seagal wants an apology from federal investigators he says wrongly implicated him in a plot to scare a journalist who was working on a story about the actor's possible ties to organized crime.

The 56-year-old action star blames his slumping career on the negative publicity he says resulted from the FBI affidavit that accused him of hiring former private eye Anthony Pellicano to threaten a freelance reporter for the Los Angeles Times.

"False FBI accusations fueled thousands of articles saying that I terrorize journalists and associate with the Mafia," Seagal told the Times in an interview published Friday. "These kinds of inflammatory allegations scare studio heads and independent producers -- and kill careers."............."

The 56-year-old action star blames his slumping career on the negative publicity.....

More likely his slumping career is due to the new having worn off his schtick and too much middle aged spread for an action star.

He’s a wanker. His acting is terrible, the scripts are all about him and the action scenes are done to show him off as some martial arts maestro.

How did he ever wind up nailing Kelly LeBrock back when she was hot?

I heard that he used to beat Kelly LeBrock. If true, that alone is reason for him to tank. On the other hand, I really liked the “Under Siege” movies—even if they were “Die Hard” rip offs.

His slumping career is due to the fact that his movies suck and he can't act his way out of a wet paper bag.

Besides which, Chuck Norris could kick his ass.

Some of you people are going to end up with your forearms in a cast if you keep ripping on Mr. Segall's obvious Oscar worthy acting.

Snap!

Steven Seagal

".. Marriages

1. Miyako Fujitani (1975–1986) (divorced) 2 children
2. Adrienne La Russa (1984-1987) (annulled)
3. Kelly LeBrock (1987–1996) (divorced) 3 children

Seagal has gained some notoriety for being a bigamist. When he left his first wife Miyako Fujitani to go back to America (reportedly, Steven's last words to her were, "You are crazy; I want a divorce"),[14][15] he married former Days of Our Lives actress Adrienne La Russa, despite his divorce to Fujitani not yet being finalized. During his marriage to La Russa he met actress/model Kelly LeBrock, with whom he began a relationship and who eventually became pregnant with his child. When news of this emerged, Seagal's marriage to La Russa was annulled and he then married LeBrock on 5th September 1987. In 1994, LeBrock filed divorce papers citing "irreconciable differences". During this time it emerged that Seagal was having an affair with Arissa Wolf, who was hired to be a nanny to Seagal and Lebrock's children.[16].."

Segal did the Nanny and knocked her up. What a dummy!

Steven Segal is a fifth rate talentless hack who hired the most notorious thug in Hollywood.

Hillary Clinton's and the Democrat National Committee's Anthony Pellicano, The evil "Pelican.":

I would love to know where the Pelican was on the night of Vince Foster's mysterious death.

Isn't Anthony Pellicano one of the private detectives Billary hired either to watch Bubba or threaten his mistresses into silence? I think we're missing some of the bigger picture here, guys!

Lighten up. Segal’s films have been a great source of entertainment over the years. I own most of his films.

Exit Wounds, Fire Down Below and Hallowed Ground were God-awful. I didn’t realize he was still making movies since Exit Wounds.

Under Seige I and II were good.

You really can't be serious. Segal is a horrible actor. The only reason his "films" get made is because he's the producer. Go to IMDB and check the ratings. None of them gets higer than six out of ten.
