Gathering of Eagles Kennebunkport ME Rally Sat. 8/25 - Cindy Sheehan Alert! (East Coast Eagles UP!)

Kennebunkport Rally - Saturday, August 25th Update

We have the permit and the enthusiasm is mounting for a great showing in Kennebunkport on August 25th. I've heard from people from all over the Northeast that are bringing car loads, van loads, caravans of vehicles and even talks of busses.

We will start to assemble around 9:00 AM and continue to assemble right through 11:00AM. Cindy Sheehan and her anti-war idiots plan to march starting around 1:00PM (but we all know how reliable they are) and will have to march right past our position. Cindy is claiming to have 10,000 activists at this rally and march. We'll see how many show up when they find out that we are coming.

For those of you who were here on July 1st, we will be assembling in the same place on Ocean Avenue in front of the Colony Hotel. For those of you who were not here on July 1st, go to Google Map or Mapquest and pull up Colony Hotel, Kennebunkport, ME and see where it is.

Parking should not be as big a problem as it was on July 1st but I am making arrangements for parking and will inform everyone before you leave to come here. Just line up everyone you can and get them to come and bring all the signs and posters you can muster. I'll handle the details of the logistics.

This showing of troop support, national pride, and our ability to muster people who have these beliefs will show much to the press, the media, and the nation that we will be heard, seen, and not be silenced.

This demonstration will set the tone for Washington DC on September 15th since we will have national coverage due to President Bush being in town on vacation. Let's all pull together and have a turnout that will shock the media, the anti-war idiots, and the nation, which will, in turn, set the stage for a massive turnout in DC on 9/15.

We need to get some posters printed which are going to be expensive. If you can make a donation right away, please go to our website listed below and make a donation on our secure connection through PayPal.

Thank you all for your hard work so far, keep up the spreading of the word, and I'll keep everyone informed of final details as we get closer.

< snip >

...By the way, we need a sound system at the demonstration!!! One with microphones, speakers, and a generator for power. We are going to be singing patriotic songs and have a music teacher coming to put this all together.... Who knows of such equipment that will be available for the 25th? Please contact me....

More soon....................

It's in the same state but we all plan to be there or be square. I got the maine goe site moved yesterday so updates should be on the maine.gatheringofeagles.org calendar with a lead in on the primary page. This will be updated until the event.

Less than an hour from me. I know this isn’t going to happen (and of course I’d never encourage it) but if she goes anywhere near the beach, tossing a few clams into the crowd where the seagulls can see them being tossed is always good for a laugh.

Like I said—I’m not doing this, nor would I encourage anyone to try it—they’re expensive (the clams, that is).

Ken’s or Bailey’s? That is the question.

I live no where near that area , now but what a great trip. Kennebunkport is a great place to be in August. Not only do you get some clean ocean air, but you get to hassle Sheehan.

Special Note About "Support The Mission" Series Posters:

Due to printers like Kinkos & OfficeMax refusing to duplicate said posters because they carried Official military seals (which are protect by law even though they are considered Public Domain), ALL Support The Mission Posters' JPEG files have been stripped of the Seals, but with the blank area left in place.

A seperate file ( Support The Mission Banner ) can be downloaded and printed out at your home, then you can affix the Seals yourself (The thumbnails above show the Seals in place.)

As always, if you have any questions, please email me at davidlachnicht@yahoo.com

Sheehan will probly wrangle up about 16 supporters- and that will include her Body Guard, film crew and a reporter from Mother Jones.

I went there once and if anyone else has been there you ALREADY know one thing-like the Hamptons; The Residence down there do NOT like Out-Siders Let Alone the type that SHE attracts as followers-Un-shaven-screaming thru bull-horns, wearing raggy clothing and shouting Anarchist slogans!

K.B. Maine IS where the RICH-FOLK is at! Hahaha! Let her just try to speak about Re-distributing the wealth there!
