F.R. defamed as "Hate Site" by Fox 5 News! [FOX News' Bill O'Reilly started this B/S]

I was listening to the news out of the corner of my ear when I heard FreeRepublic specifically mentioned as a "hate site" about fifteen minutes ago.

Ostensibly the long report was about the Klan using the web to recruit new wackos. Then the focus turned to Casa Maryland, and their director who claimed that calls for his murder had circulated on the internet by anti-immigrant bigots. It was then that the anchor identified FR by name as a hate site.

Whoever these folks are making the accusation that FR is a hate site, obviously, missed the fabulously entertaining, enlightening, AND educational thread several Christmases ago regarding, of all things, FRUIT CAKE!

On the other hand, it did elicit some pretty “hate filled” posts.

More ‘fake but accurate news’?

The typeface in the last two screenshots occurs on FR only when one is editting a reply, post or private reply. Note also the left edge of the window
in the last screenshot: the blue border and blue background beyond seem to be the left edge of the browser window in the ‘Your Reply’ screen. (I’m looking at them now, you can see for yourself by posting a reply.)

The content seems to be something the ‘reporter’ was posting, so if it shows up on any FR thread, we have the reporter’s FR screen name (and I’ll bet it’s a new sign-up). Either that or it will never show up since the reporter didn’t hit post twice.

I did not take them personally while they were directed at me. Which shows how completely ignorant the hate monger is because I am pretty sure a married women can't be a fagot.

While I love the River Walk, and I love the weather, I don’t think I’ll be able to get there in Jan.

The only time I get to Texas now is to see my in-laws just south of Dallas.

We happened to be there during the three consecutive days they were dry this summer.
However, we spent two days at DFW trying to go to Mississippi.

I just love how Free Republic is full of so many experts on so many things.

You do not get to tell me what is and what is not hate. I have seen it here the past 6 months on a daily basis.
