If they are illegals, send Murray and company executives to jail for a long time. The company should be fined. Employers need to be held accountable for their actions.

I see it as you do. I feel terribly for the man.
Some people think he was crass for challenging the assertion the the mine collapse produced a 4.5 quake instead of the 4.5 quake producing the collapse. I think he had every right to challenge it. The USGS is hardly infallible. And I’m sure it’s up to its eyeballs in partisan politics like every other tentacle of the federal hydra.
