I agree she has been so important in his life. Whether she did issue that ultimation of course is speculation and one wonders if she would have carried it out. One thing I also heard in an interview of VP is that after his second DUI, which I believe ocurred over about an 18 month period after being told not to bother returning to Yale. He realised that his life was going in the wrong direction and unless he did something about it it would spiral out of control. He did also infer that Lynne was also influential in him sorting himself out and I believe it was only about year after that they married.

He is an inspiration to youngsters showing even if you have started to go down the wrong path you can change direction and ultimately succeed. You have to want to, no one make you even the most persuasive girl friend cannot do it for you, you have to be willing to take the advise given swallow your pride and change direction. The VP has shown he did this as a man in his early twenties and became one of the most successful men of his generation.

I am From So.Cal. My Late Father and FIL were Law in Enforcement Officers. I would never Lie about the conduct of these hero’s in blue, black.tan,green or beige. I should have said the officer had a smile on his face, which is more than my late Dad’s did when he found out about the ticket! :) I miss him.

I’ve just accepted that it’s deep-seated resentment and hate, and it’s unending. I heard something that resonates .. and I slough all that stuff off.
