Theyre getting slammed with such immense traffic that its actually crippled their search function for the moment. But Im going to link anyway, first and foremost so that you can bookmark it for use later when the wave subsides and second because the Editors Picks search terms in the sidebar do work and some of them are tasty indeed. For example, select Democratic Party and itll bring up all the edits made to all Wikipedia pages from the range of IPs (allegedly) assigned to Democratic Party computers. Scroll down to the one for Rush Limbaugh and click the number in the diff column and youll see this. The pre-edit version is in the red text in the yellow box at the top and the post-edit is in the red text in the green box.
That should start you off. Ill leave you to find the other
The linked image shows someone at the IP address 192.43.248.17 edited the Rush wiki page to add insulting text. That IP address resolves to:
OrgName: Democratic National Headquarters OrgID: DNH Address: 430 S. Capitol St. SE - 2nd Floor City: Washington StateProv: DC PostalCode: 20003 Country: US
NetRange: 192.43.248.0 - 192.43.248.255 CIDR: 192.43.248.0/24 NetName: DNH
This is certainly no bombshell but it is funny to have these kinds of pranks documented as coming from DNC HQ!
L
Let ‘em....keeps ‘em out of real trouble. Anyone going to wiki for info about Rush is a lost cause anyway.
Lots of Moonbats argue that Wiki really isn’t a leftwingnut thingamajob ~
Democrats have a real problem with the extra chromosome crowd.
Kinda like calling in a bomb threat on your cell phone..........(a local HS kid DID THAT!)..........
You can prevent your IP address from being broadcast at Wikipedia by simply registering an account, prior to editing any pages. If you edit a Wikipedia page without an account, then your IP address is visible to pretty much everyone there (if I remember correctly).
They let most anyone edit.
I always roll my eyes when anybody cites Wikipedia as a “source”. I use it myself for trivia, but for anything where the truth is important, it’s trash.
Done!
It's good for trivia and cheating on crossword puzzles, nothing more.
Very nice!
What do you expect from people who literally never have grown up and moved past the stage where emotions rule their lives?
Oops! I thought that was a mirror. It’s still getting hammered.
I can believe it, crooks are stupid. Several years ago I read about an armed robbery of a convienence store. Bad guy puts a 12 pack on the counter, pulls a gun and demands the money from the register, Clerk complies but tells him she has to see some ID for the beer, he whips out his drivers license and shows it to her, she memorizes the name and address.
Like I said, crooks are stupid.
Have we observed the self edits of CBS News or ABC News or CNN news?
