Michael Savage Responds to Attack by San Francisco Supervisor

After San Francisco Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval introduced a resolution condemning the "defamatory language used by radio personality Michael Savage against immigrants,” Savage lashed back at the newly elected supervisor.

"Illiberalism is not only a mental disorder it is fascist at its core,” the mega-popular talk show host told NewsMax.com. "This schmuck says my comments are 'symbolic of hatred and racism.' And they want the City to sue me for 'symbolism.'

"There is no basis in American Law for such a suit but the larger point is the astonishing hate speech he is engaging in. To stop opinion by threatening legal action is akin to using the power of the State to control thought and speech.”

This, Savage fumed "is something out of Kafka and the ex-Soviet Union. Moreover, this illegitimi is working on behalf of a foreign government against an American Citizen. Does this constitute harassment against me? My attorney will soon answer this question as I ponder suing the City of San Francisco.”

Savage had suggested that a group of students who were fasting to advocate for immigration policy changes should be allowed to fast "until they starve to death, then that solves the problem.”

Meanwhile, Savage reminded NewsMax that the San Francisco Chronicle reported an apparent anti-Semitic remark Sandoval made, when he said that San Francisco residents who resented business leaders suing the city should picket them "at their houses in Tiburon and at their bar mitzvahs."

If he’s too abrasive for your tastes, then you must not listen to him... thus, why are you commenting? I’m thinking that it’s about damned time some people were MORE abrasive against these blasted leftist a$$e$. I’ve about had it with liberals and their anti-American hatred. It’s time for people like Savage to scream back, way past time.

Where, besides his wildest fantasies?

You think having the third most-listened to radio show in America has something to do with it?

Usually he speaks of Liberalism rather than Illiberalism.

No difference between modern leftist and totalitarian communists. They share the same passion for obliterating the rights and freedoms of anyone they disagree with.
That's exactly what the "Fairness Doctrine" is all about.

Exactly. Nobody beats Rush as far as entertainment value goes, but Savage has moved past Sean Hannity in my book. Savage tells it like it is, and backs it up with facts & history. ....not to mention he starts his show with Master of Puppets!

Sean Hannity is really slipping lately. It’s just the same predictable whining and crying day after day. After two years of the “Stop Hillary Express” crap..... there is a good chance I will slit my wrists, and not be able to vote against her anyway.

I do not know what you mean by abusive, but if Savage is being verbally abusive to a bunch of raving lunatic commie leftist pigs who spit on America and all that she has stood for and fought for so that we remain free, well, I'd say God Bless him.

It's a mean job and someone such as Savage has the right stuff to shove these slimy stalinist vermin into the dark crevices from which they are spawned always spewing blithering nonsense and anti-American hate speech.

FYI, Sandoval is the flaming idiot who went on Hannity & Colmes and stated very factually that America should NOT have a military. I kid you not...

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,184951,00.html

The exchange from the above link goes like this...

ALAN COLMES, CO-HOST: This is Alan in New York. Should we not have military?

SANDOVAL: I don’t think we should have a military. Absolutely.

COLMES: We shouldn’t have a military? Wait a minute. Hold on. The United States should not have a military?

SANDOVAL: What good has it done for us in the last five years? That’s right. What good has it done us...

HANNITY: Good grief.

SANDOVAL: ... in the last five years.

COLMES: Gerardo, wait a second.

SANDOVAL: We think about the billions that we’re spending in Iraq right now, if we spend it on schools. We should not...

COLMES: The United States should not have a military?

SANDOVAL: That’s correct.

COLMES: Are you kidding me?

SANDOVAL: The United States should not have a military. All in all, we would be in much, much, much better shape.

COLMES: You’ve got to be kidding me. We should have no military, we should have no ability to defend ourselves, we should have no armed forces in this country?

SANDOVAL: Well, we shouldn’t have a military that goes abroad and starts wars.

COLMES: You just said we shouldn’t have a military. I don’t want to give — I’m speaking out very forcefully to you, because I don’t want to give the impression that Democrats hate the military or don’t want a military. We may disagree with certain wars, like the ones fought now.

SANDOVAL: No, but you said should we give up.

COLMES: But to say that we shouldn’t have a military is absolutely absurd. It’s incredible. That’s a ridiculous fringe point of view.

HANNITY: That’s exactly what I was thinking, Alan. Welcome to San Francisco.

SANDOVAL: If you’re saying that we don’t have a right to defend ourselves that’s different from we shouldn’t have a military.

COLMES: What do you want to defend ourselves — what do you want to defend ourselves with?

SANDOVAL: Well, you got cops. It’s called the Coast Guard. There’s lots of things different.

COLMES: You want to send cops to defend our shores if we’re attacked? You want to send cops overseas if we’re attacked? Cops?
