Whatever it turns out to be, I’d guess a visit in south Texas.

IIRC, That’s the same place Opal spawned in ‘95, and wound up here in Ft. Walton Beach.......

Women, children and minorities will be greatly affected.

And me! I start my vacation in Destin Saturday.

You certainly never know for sure with these storms. However, the ridge over the southern plains is too strong. Mid to southern Texas is most likely. Following right behind that upper level low. No way this one comes to Florida, unless it stalls somehow for three or four days. TD4 in the Atlantic could be the threat to Florida.

The shaded risk area for the Yucutan system seems to have dropped off the chart leaving only Tropical Depression Four still showing, in respect of which there is different thread running.

I’m planning on being in the Navarre/Pensecola region on the 22nd!!! It’s been three years since I’ve been to the beach. Rain, rain go away!

A lot of people will be happy because they can say it is caused by global warming.

If I were you, I'd be keeping a close eye on DEAN in the Atlantic. Could be making landfall somewhere about that time. Models this far out are all over the place, but the panhandle of Florida is a possibility.

Yeah, that’s the one I’ve been watching since yesterday. I’m curious to see what path it takes and how strong it gets. I hope I don’t have to change destinations.
