'Seinfeld' Actor Stars In Anti-GOP Video (Even the Left hates it)
Deadline Hollywood ^ | 3 Aug 07 | Nikki Finke

Posted on 08/13/2007 6:40:41 AM PDT by SkyPilot

Borrowing from Harry Potter, this video parody titled "Rovemort And The Sorcerer's Stonewall" and starring Jason Alexander was released today by the Campaign For America's Future. I wish I could say it was clever or fun, but it's so heavy-handed about Rush Limbaugh, Brit Hume, Trent Lott, Mitch McConnell, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and Dubya that even a liberal like me finds it off-putting. (Surely Hollywood can help progressives put together more subtle and arresting footage than this!) The video is part of a national campaign to "expose the right's strategy of obstructing reform while attacking the 'do-nothing [Democrat-controlled] Congress'", timed to the YearlyKos conference in Chicago, and legislators on Capitol Hill preparing to return to their districts for the summer recess.

[Too bad he’s such a jerk. He was funny on Seinfeld. Now he looks like an ass.]

I suppose the part called for a pathetic, dependent slob but I believe he was not acting but merely playing himself.

Jason Alexander’s movie career peaked in “Dunston Checks In”.

I think his best work was in the McDonalds commercial for the quarter pounder back in the seventies. Truth be told even that sucked.

He did win a contest.

Piques the imagination. I haven't yet been able to imagine one he could win that I would enter.

The best Hollywood could do was to hire a D List actor to play this role? Now that IS the funny part.

(Surely Hollywood can help progressives put together more subtle and arresting footage than this!)

What self-deluded "people" these morons are. Using the term "Progressive" is nothing more than a smokescreen to direct attention away from their Communist agenda. "Progressive" ought to have a required "TM"(trademark) that is registered as a synonym for Communist.

Their policies are, like all of liberalism, the direct opposite of what they claim. They say they are "progressive", but it is the left who wants us all to live in the stone-age past, under their totalitarian eco-fascism, sitting around a fake campfire, (can't have a real one, because they pollute), singing kumbaya, while eating tofu and thinking only approved Politically Correct thoughts.

A pox on all of them.

‘Wasn;t he married to Britney Spears?’

No, that was an inflatable doll that looked like Spears.

Interestingly enough, even the doll found him vapid.....

I agree. However, he was one of the funniest comics on the improv show, “Thank God You’re Here”, last season.

In spite of my distaste for him, I laughed a lot at his skits on that show. Made me mad I did that.

{”He did win a contest.”}

So he says.

If I recall correctly, in the final show when they thought the plane was going to crash, he confessed that he had cheated.
