As the immigration debate rages and becomes increasingly polarized, I can not help but wonder if liberals parent their children with the same consequence-free approach they would like our society to take in confronting illegal immigration.
Yes.
Lol...guess that answers that burning question!
Yes - they’ve been doing that for years.
I’ve seen their kids... yes.
Yep.
>>Ive seen their kids... yes.<<
Me too....yes...they’re scary.
I just spent time with relatives. Nine-year-old boy. No self-control at all. Terrible, terrible behavior. Here's Mom: "Jack. [pause] Jack. [pause] Jack. [pause]. That's one. That's two. Jack. [pause] Jack. [pause] Jack.[pause]"
He's not a bad kid, but he has no idea what proper behavior is. And over a long weekend visit, his parents never disciplined him at all. No time-outs. No spanking. No loss of TV priviledges. Nothing.
That kid's not going to recognize a consequence if it hits him in the face. And when it does -- and life is all about consequences -- he's just going to say "That's not fair. I'm entitled to better."
This is how Liberals reproduce.
Absolutely they do raise their kids that way. We have seen it over and over again. Liberals don’t know any better.
As I have pointed out in the past, I believe strongly that the Dr. Spock method of rearing children prevelant in the 50’s and 60’s is quite responsible for the increase in the sheer idiocy we face in our society today.
Yes, but kids rebel. And when the parents are ‘Godless liberals’, the kids start turning to order and structure and morality, or so I’ve been told. The opposite seems to hold true as well though...
Speaking from personal experience, I might have ‘turned out better’ (from a religious perspective) if they hadn’t of raised me so well (churchgoing, strict, etc.). My faith, having been at ‘full’ for 5-10 years, had nowhere to go but down. Things that sit, without growing, stagnate. So, instead of finding faith later in life (having a lack of it), I lost much faith, because I had it all to start (was full to capacity).
Sure they do....they are the ones entrenched in victim mentality....the woe is me peeps.
Sure they do....they are the ones entrenched in victim mentality....the woe is me peeps.
Not only that, but they object if others don’t raise their kids the same way.
My liberals-in-law are the same way. They don’t enforce any threat they make. The kids walk all over them. And now they claim their kids have “Aspbergers” and “ADHD” and other new psychological kid problems that are all the rage today.
Sometimes it seems like they enjoy bragging about all the problems of their children. It’s disgusting.
Personal guilt tells them they must. Bringing consequences to bear on their children’s behavior while side-stepping the same for their own would result in hypocrisy. The liberal, being haughty and high-minded (and, of course, self-deluded), cannot abide such a thought, so they exact no consequences from their children.
Exhibit A: Al Gore III
Yes, people raised consequence free and without boundaries tend to have screwed up kids.
Of course...their little darlings are perfect.
I know many of these people and it's usually followed by: "Don't make me get to three!" By that time, I want to smack the parent.
On the other political spectrum the instruction ranges from high achievement through home schooling because the family is toooo good to be exposed to the ‘evils’ in this world.
Further I have encountered as many so called conservatives that believe it their ‘God-given’ duty to demonstrate their compassion by inviting every illegal to share the blessing of this nation.
