If you know how the Ames straw poll works--all you need is to be over the age of 18 and buy a ticket to attend (you don't even have to be an Iowa resident, I don't think)--you'll realize that it only means that Mitt Romney was able to buy more tickets for his people than anyone else.

Regardless how this day turned out, good for some, not so good for others, the ending of this story hasn’t been written yet. Iowa isn’t finished until after the caucus no matter when that is.
I don’t know about his campaign organization is, but I hope DH hangs in there. You evidently are willing to hang in there.
A candidate can’t win if he quits and I’m glad you’re not quitting. The more conservative candidates who get more support, the better I like the chances in the general election for whoever the nominee is.
