I think the polls are lies. And I think Duncan Hunter is further ahead than anyone realizes. I would hope that Thompson gets in the race before long as he is preventing Hunter from showing stronger. Maybe that’s Thompson’s game; knock out the guy that could beat him.

My issue with Mayor G. is his propensity to appoint/recommend people who are amoral low lifes. Bernie Kerrick’s just inside the law deals should have been warning lights. There are a few other instances.

Also, the NYC Firefighter’s Union has put together a hit video that is devastating on the surface. IT is a lot of allegations, and taking things out of context. However, given the media being the DNC’s prison b***h, it will be 24/7 and negate Hillarita’s deviancy.

He will not be able to get ahead of it and it will swamp his campaign because it shakes the roots of his harda** but caring persona post 9/11 in New York.

Florida will be closer than you think.

There’s a good number of us here who will work hard to make sure she won’t get easy votes.....

Also, there’s a high NY population who remember NYC as it was, and know that Rudy did clean it up....

Does anybody really think that Hillary Clinton has a good chance of carrying any southern state?

Well, she did try that fake southern accent on them!

Ummm, because no conservatives are running and thus none participated in the poll?

I still favor the GOP to hang on to Florida in the 2008 presidential race. Just saying Hilly could win it - her husband did, after all.

Looks like Guiliani took from McCain, then later gave back to Thompson. But Rudy is still leading.

The problem, INHO, is that we really don’t know much about Rudy. He does have a socially liberal streak a mile wide. But look at where he was mayor. No openly social conservative would ever win that mayorship. So how much of his politics was just a left leap to be mayor? How much of that left leaning is fact and how much was just pandering? He did lower taxes and cut the crime rate.

Because the South, like every other part of the country, is fooled with deluded fools who think that:

1. Rudy is a "tough New Yorker", like they see in the movies, even though he is really a cream puff from Garden City Lawn Guyland.

2. Rudy is "good on foreign policy" when all he really has to offer is superficial soundbites and whatever he has learned from Cholo festival in Queens and Purim Parties for Chabad Lubavitch.

3. Rudy "can beat Hillary." HELLO! You never beat somebody because he/she is "not the EVIIILLLL" opposing candidate. Ask the Dems how far that got them with Kerry or our very own Republicans how far that got them with Dole.

I’m saying it’s close but we hold on. So we both agree on that, and hopefully we will be right.

The thought of her as president is frightening......

Her husband was a much better deceiver than she is. He could use his real southern accent, and convince those who don’t listen carefully that he was looking out for them, when all he wanted was their vote.
