Mitt: “Barrack has gone from Jane Fonda to Dr. Strangelove in one week.”

LOL...did he actually say that?

Too many Americans don’t understand that concept.

yes, but it does pep up an otherwise very boring debate and boring election season

McCain, 2 billion for pork barrel projects, will veto every pork barrel bill.

McCain is complaining about the pork barrel spending.

[How much was his share during the last 5 years?]

Mitt (paraphrase): "Barrack wants to bomb our allies (Pakistan) and sit down for tea with our enemies. He's gone from Jane Fonda to Dr. Strangelove in one week."

You don't have to worry. They will definitely replay that one.

Yes, good to actually see some numbers, now I’d like to see a candidate state the current rate and say he will drop it a specific amount.

I think they all should be garnished and estates reposessed to repay for pork they voted ‘yes’ on.

John McCain: "The VP has two jobs...one is to break a tie in the senate and the other is to inquire on the health of the President."

Too little too late there, Johnnie. Hand in your playbook and clean out your locker by the end of the day.

McCain (paraphase): We passed a $50 billion transportation bill that had $2 billion of pork barrel projects. $233 million for a Bridge To Nowhere in Alaska to an island in Alaska with 50 people on it. I'll veto those pork barrel bills and make the authors famous.

Not bad. Sounds like a Republican.

Romney made reference to Bridge To Nowhere but said that as governor they had focused on bridges and infrastructure that needed fixing instead of building more new stuff first. A smooth managerial answer, credible enough.

A BoobTube question now on VP's and what jobs they would assign to their VP.

Darn they stopped showing the debate in my area!

And when will there be a debate with equal time for all of the candidates?

McCain: A VP really only has two jobs. To cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate and to inquire daily about the health of the president. (good laughs for an old joke)

That would be 20% dims and 5% pubs.

Another 26 % and he can bring this thing home ;-)
