Too-Late Lindsey ping!
Did Kerry actually say that? I remember he said that about the spending bill but not the war? I understand the flip-flop point but is Kerry being misquoted here?
Unfortunately for Graham, logic dictates that his reversal was ONLY brought about because he thought he would lose his job, not because of a change in his belief system brought about by a serious reexamination of the facts. He went waaaaaaay out of his way to support amnesty; were the bill to come up again with a minimum of opposition, he would support it again.
Graham’s reversal is the same as convicts on death row “finding God”. Don’t buy it.
Hahahaha...Take NO converts. ;-)
ROFLMBO
Well, many freepers have given McFred a pass for co-authoring and voting for McCain/Feingold and support him for president, Sen. Grahmnesty certainly stands a chance all will be forgotten come election time.
Lindsey, are you a BIGOT now too?
RINO hunt time!
The time to eliminate the RINO is PRIMARY time—if you wait until the general election, you will end up with multiple BAD choices.
So-go get a good primary challanger and BACK HIM.
Bye-bye Gramnesty.
Please accept this S.C. voter’s apologies for helping put Flimsey Tinkerbelle into his current gig back in ‘02.
But come primary season in 2008, Lord Grahamnesty is toast.
What a rude, arrogant little snot he has turned out to be.
“Sen. Grahmnesty certainly stands a chance all will be forgotten come election time.”
I doubt it.
People are sort of unforgiving when it comes to being called bigots by their elected officials.
Same goes for my Senators, Chambliss and Isakson. At least they admitted it was because we all screamed statewide. It was not change of heart, just a fear of change of jobs.
They are both toast in their re-elections.
Graham and McCain simply couldn’t “read” the will of their constituents. Remember when Graham called those opposed to amnesty “bigots”? Now both “crusader rabbits” are facing reality and their phony flips are too little and too late. Good riddance to both.
It’s interesting (and a good thing) that Tarleton’s DNA was extinguished when he died.
Nice try slick.
Lets hope the voters send him back to chasing ambulances.
Don't believe it. I received a letter a few days ago from McCain, dated July 17th, that had nothing but the same old tired BS in it. Can't control our borders under existing law. Can't round up all the illegals. Need for comprehensive immigration reform. Broken immigration system.
They're putting up a smokescreen that will hopefully (to them) allow incremental passage of the original legislation.
Don't fall for this, folks!!!!
I would say South Carolina is most definitely turning blue.
