Just turned on the news. 35W bridge collapsed in the Mississippi River. Cars, trucks, semis.....
Fires burning, tanker trucks, at least one school bus, more than ten cars......
Just now breaking.......

They (and you) would be very foolish to jump to that conclusion so fast. Not jumping to any conclusion, merely a question as you can see: terrorism? I surely hope it isn't, but no one is speculating as to the cause.

Friday, a motorist in Massachusetts was crushed by a drainage gate on a highway. There have been reports here of about five manhole covers popping out or something in the last few days. Never heard of such a thing before.

They are also reporting that cars careened off the Bay Bridge into the water in ‘89. Didn’t happen. One car went off the broken section and got caught up. Never left the upper “deck”.

One eyewitness said that his truck went down about 30 feet, nose down into the ground on the shore. He was scratched up a bit but fine. He helped get the kids off the bus.

terrorism??...or .....something... Of course it could be totally crappy engineering.Here we go. Never hear a word about engineering until a single dam is breached or a bridge falls...and then it's either bloodthirsty terrorists or sloppy designers...
