Just turned on the news. 35W bridge collapsed in the Mississippi River. Cars, trucks, semis.....
Fires burning, tanker trucks, at least one school bus, more than ten cars......
Just now breaking.......
How high is it above the water?
Wow. Such a catastrophe...
The Interstate 35W Mississippi River bridge near University Avenue has collapsed into the river.
It appears the bridge collapsed in both directions.
There are multiple cars in the river and a couple cars on fire. According to one witness, there was a school bus full of children on the bridge.
Cars are still on the bridge.
“It is just horrific,” said witness Marilyn Franzen, who saw the bridge collapse. Franzen said she saw a school bus that managed to stop before the going over the edge of the bridge that she said was carrying 20-30 children.

Terrorism?
TROP strikes again?
FNC: I-35 bridge over Mississippi River in Minneapolis has collapsed.
I drove over that bridge a few times back in January-February. It looked to me like it was pretty old.
OMG!
FOX saying 6-8 cars/trucks in water, and 20 to 30 people in the water.
Hard to believe it would be terrorism... Have to wait to see.
According to the local report, there are 20 to 30 cildren on that school bus - visible right behind the tractor trailer that is engulfed in flames.
This is one of the many things drives me crazy about the D.B.Media.
If we learned anything from Katrina or 9-11 it is that we'd better wait and make sure before we start the body counts.
Nawww...
Eyewitnesses didnt report anything unusual
The extent of the collapse makes one think about some sort of sabotage. It is hard to believe that the collapse was just a structural failure. Regardless, it is horrific.
Holey Moley. You got that right. Breathtaking.
Is it correct that there was construction happening?
oh no..
The same thing happened here in Ohio like almost 40 years ago.
What a terrible tragedy.
my htoughts, since FOXNEWS is openly wondering how something like this could happen without a trigger of some sort....like EarthQuake - or Big Wind or .....something...
Of course it could be totally crappy engineering.
