I taped a segment on the O'Reilly Factor for airing tonight to defend Free Republic against charges that it is a hate site. The segment will air in the 'D block' around 8:35 p.m. EDT and rerun at 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. EDT.
Rather than tell how it went, I'll leave it for folks to watch and decide for themselves. I hope I did right by FR.
We'll be having company tonight as some of Bill O'Reilly's two million-plus viewers check out FR for themselves. So please bear that in mind as you comment tonight. The Daily Kos is waging a very nasty personal campaign of retribution against O'Reilly. No sense in us piling on. Let's use this as an opportunity to show people why FR is the best conservative site on the web.

I think someone who is a really good wordsmith should send that link to HRH Bill O’R and demand a retraction. As someone said earlier and I recall too hearing him say he doesn’t know how to work a computer, which to quote O’R is a ‘ load of bull. Does anyone actually think that ol’ teacher sits at a Smith Corona and types it out? I don’t.
I will tell everyone what a sneaky unfair person he is .
the “it” I meant to say refers to the books he has written and crows about all the time..They may be good, I have not read them but point made...
If FreeRepublic catered to Right-wing Hate Speech, your controversial posting would have used the “N-word.”
I challenge you, Bill O’Reilly, to prove that your own producers behind the electron curtain did not plant trash on FreeRepublic for you, conveniently to find. Give FreeRepublic the exact printouts so the offending person’s electronic trail can be identified.
Furthermore, by attempting to contrast the vile smut and obscene filth of the infantile Left-wing Blogs with statements from unsubstantiated postings on FR that say, “I hate Blacks” or “Gays are dogs,” is such disingenuous tripe it makes my head spin. That is not a pleasant effect from the “No-spin zone!”

I wasn't meaning to imply this poster was the one that made the comments, only that it would make it easy to find the thread that BOR flashed on the screen because this person's posts were in the same thread.
I remember that! That was great! Boortz blew his egotistical ass right off the set. I recall O'reilly using some profanity towards Neil in response. Didn't O'rielly call Boortz a "ruthless son of a bitch" or something to that effect?
BOR’s mail segment should be interesting tomorrow. (His emailbox is probably overflowing right now). It’ll be revealing to see which emails, if any, he decides to air.
Maybe thats why it kept throwing me off, without letting me read . I also couldn’t find a email for him .
I learned about Bill from another FReeper and I have been watching him ever since then. I think someone must have made him mad so he's retaliating against EVERYONE who posts here at FR. I don't like it one bit either. I think he owes us an apology. For him to paint us all as racists is way over the top.

O’R has his own radio show which I don’t listen to as one hour of him in the evening is more than I can stand most times.
I know where the Big Chicken is ! I use to go there when they had curb service . It came in real handy when I was breast feeding too .I could go out and eat in comfort .That was over 40 years ago though .
You could be correct. Michael Savage came out today saying that the Internet should be regulated by the government because a persistent heckler sent him gay pornography.
