I taped a segment on the O'Reilly Factor for airing tonight to defend Free Republic against charges that it is a hate site. The segment will air in the 'D block' around 8:35 p.m. EDT and rerun at 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. EDT.
Rather than tell how it went, I'll leave it for folks to watch and decide for themselves. I hope I did right by FR.
We'll be having company tonight as some of Bill O'Reilly's two million-plus viewers check out FR for themselves. So please bear that in mind as you comment tonight. The Daily Kos is waging a very nasty personal campaign of retribution against O'Reilly. No sense in us piling on. Let's use this as an opportunity to show people why FR is the best conservative site on the web.

Kristinn — obviously BOR knows nothing about FR and how it works. He took a few comments (probably had someone do the research for him) and made the whole site a hate forum.
He really didn’t give you a chance to explain about disruptors and plants. I also didn’t like that he didn’t give you a last word without interrupting you. Yet he has all the answers. A pox on him.

Unfortunately for O'Reilly, that was a comment in response to an article about Zimbabwe president, Robert Mugabe, who likened homosexuals to dogs.
O'Reilly, what a misleading accusation. I thought you called your show, "The No Spin Zone."

I don’t watch O’Rielly but clicked over and just got the last few words.
BOR picked out one liners that most of us ignore from posters letting off steam.
Interesting that he had you on 1 or 2 days after a thread ran here that was not pro we all love and adore BOR.
Maybe the “mods” can post the record showing when those “posts” were posted & then pulled.
Without revealing the “poster” I would love to be able to see the “sign up” date of these authors.
Maybe BOR does not understand the meaning of “troll”.

I thought his interview was very limited and unfair. There was no depth in the coverage. Just a handful of random infamous quotes (possibly with a sarcasm tag).

You did very well, Mr. Taylor. I have NEVER seen a FR posting, for even a split second, in the ballpark of the racist comment BOR attributed to FR.
the only reason he did this was to appear fair and balanced to the libs who think he spends to much time on their hating websites. Talk about spin if you ask me! There is no hating going on here. BOR is a joke and after the things he said about Shawn Hornbeck when he was found alive I haven’t been able to watch him anymore, but new this was coming on and wanted to see what he said. More crap out of his mouth is all i saw!

Do you think they’d let you see the posts BOR was referring to? That way JimRob could trace down who they are, likely plants, and we could document to FOX that they were not REAL FReepers. Jimrob could also ZOT the posters, if it hasn’t been done already!
I have never seen any of the things that Harold Ford said were on this site. Could they have doctored posts?
