I’ve added GI Joe to the lore section. I’m holding off on “dam ties”..I haven’t seen it used that much...if you can refute that, please do so.

Yeah, your right on the glossary. I was debating where it would best fit, but I think the lore section should probably be reserved for strictly FR lore rather than general actions etc FR was involved in.
I cannot refute it. It never took off.
Here’s a good link for the Lexicon

Ginger and Mary Ann say hello. :-)
Walter Reed FReeps - The DC Chapter of FreeRepublic has held a constant vigil near the Medical Center's entrance to welcome and support our wounded servicemen and women and to counter the "greeting" given by Code Pink and various anti-war leftists groups. The FReeps commenced in [fill in blank] and continue. At one point, Code Pink forgot to renew the protest permit, allowing FReepers to capture the opposing corner.
What a great idea; but it does need some tweaking, especially because CodePink calls their demonstration a "vigil", which is a lefty word for a secular religious ceremony! LOL!
Here is an edit that I recommend -- you others on the ping list might have other suggestions:
Walter Reed FReeps - The DC Chapter of FreeRepublic has held a weekly troop-support rally at the entrance to Walter Reed Army Medical Center since March, 2005, to greet our wounded troops and their families. This rally began as a counterprotest to an anti-war "vigil" by Code Pink and other leftist groups that gathered every Friday evening at the entrance to WR. After facing off across the street for the first 40 weeks, FReepers captured the permits to all four corners of the entrance in 2006, pushing the protesters to an obscure site a block away ever since. Our larger and more visible rally now focuses solely on celebrating the troops.

Thanks for filling in the details (and thanks for giving our wounded a proper welcome). It’ been added.
Batter - Thank you for working on getting this into the FR Lore. Supporting the troops by being at Walter Reed and all the other FReeps around America are the least we can do for them.

Many thanks, batter!
What? No Ash, or A+Bert or ClassyGreenEyedBlond or DITHF? Come on, we must recognize our heritage!
They’re all under “Freeper Lore”.
I think I will post the "final" 2007 Lexicon shortly.
I will also try to ping everyone involved in this thread over to the new one.
When you do that, just make sure that you enter both the OLD "BOR" and the NEW "BORE" FRacronyms. We need the traceability provided by having the old one, and the completeness of having the new one. Each entry should reference the other, so that users of the Lexicon can easily "get onboard" with the new and begin using "BORE" instead of the now-obsolete "BOR".
Any luck finding the post/thread?
