First the Vikings, and now this?

Where has Minnesota gone? A vast wasteland seems to be their new state motto. Forget the land of 10,000 lakes.

Most of Minnesota is the southern California of the north....especially northern Minnesota!

Follow that?

Well, we’re supporting an actor for President.

Remember, this is the state that elected a wrestler. It is extremely lefty in certain parts, like the arrowhead, where it is nearly socialist in its ideology.

7% is a small lead ? If Stuart Smalley were leading 49-42%, the media would call it a WIDE lead.

Bad characterization. Fred has actually accomplished something. The only thing Franken accomplished was getting stoned while filming his segment in “Trading Places.”

Isn't Minnesota the place that elected that Muslim, Ellison, to Congress?

Al Franken is a centrist compared to him. He'll fit right in.

Norm Coleman is a patriot.Franken is a buffoon.
Shouldn’t be this close.

I really hate to be the turd in the punch bowl at this doom & gloom party but, given Norm has not started campaigning yet, the Red Star and Pioneer dePress would rather cut off their leg than right anything postitive about him, he’s not doing too bad.

Yeah, this is actually much better than I expected him to look right now. If he’s at 49 right now, I think he’ll pull it off in the end.

IMHO—I’m not sure that this gravitationally-challanged POS would be a bad thing for OUR side. He appears to BE the center of his party, after all.
That’s not a bad thing, when you are posing as an opposition.

I loved it when he passed out the Jackel credentials to the press. My sister-in-law (a teacher) hated Jesse, so he was OK in my book.

I’m not buying this poll.

A week ago, Coleman had a double digit lead that had been in place virtually from the moment Franken announced.

Lets see what the polls say a week from today.

Arrowhead socialist?? you are wrong,it’s MPLS/St.Paul you are talking aboot that is socialist. The Arrowhead are personal property rights ,gun rights and church going people, they prefer to work for a living and are for less government. The reason the Arrowhead votes “D” is because they think they are still voting for the OLD DFL and that stems because of the mining community and the OLD workers that still live there that think it is the party of the people. They are brainwashed and somewhat afraid of NOT voting DFL. Now it is true there are the pockets of Liberalism, like the North Shore and Ely but that is not why St.Louis and Cook counties are blue counties....look at the vote counts, they are CLOSE these days. The right candidate can swing those two counties easy
