KABUL (Reuters) - Taliban kidnappers shot dead a male South Korean hostage on Monday, a spokesman said, accusing the Afghan government of not listening to rebel demands.

Actually, in this case the Taliban have already chosen the ones to be executed. They took hostages to try and force release of captured Taliban. Simple solution would be to eliminate one of the people they want released for everyone of the hostages they kill.
