Anita’s link to a Powerline blog has the best explanation of what Gonzales and the Administration are saying, and what Schumer and the Judiciary and the Media are saying. Reliable sources lead with it.

I'm picking Romney as VP and having Fred turn over Al Gore's old "reinventing government" task to him. That is an excellent idea. Bureaucratic knees would be quaking.

That just about sums it up. I actually think it was more to do with the “lovers’ spat” (more than one lesbo involved) than politics. Off to Church now. I’ll try to catch up later.
I really hate to miss the discussion about this “fair and balanced lineup today. < /BIG TIME sarcasm>

Then, if Thompson wins, I want Duncan Hunter as the Secretary of Defense. I want John Bolton as Secretary of State.....what a dream team!

He’s done a brilliant job bringing the truth out about hillary,it will be interesting to see if she actually does testify and if so what she has to say. (By the way they just did the “GW/Cheney lite” comment on MTP.)

Do not reporters think before they make comments or as you say it was probably a cheap shot. I am sure the Justice Department for legal reasons would not want to appear on any talk show.

Interesting choices. I would choose Hunter for Sec.Def. Wouldn’t it be nice if VP candidate bring some state atleast? Bush was solid and chose Cheney for wash.admn. help.

I don’t even know where to begin with Chris Matthew’s Sunday show and his panel
The are twisting one comment after another
Chris says the WH says we are fighting Al-q in Iraq to keep them out of the US .. then says but then they will say the have stopped plots in the US
Then says .. aren’t they contradicting themselves

Yes, I could tell the Mayor was a bit overwhelmed. He sounds like he could be a real good guy but he does need a bit of seasoning. Glad to hear you are taking him under your wing.
Good for him. I respect people who actually get in the arena and fight for us.

I was warned about Newt many years ago by my retired Congressional representative. He came into the House in 1964 with a handful of other conservatives. He said Newt had a nasty streak that made it difficult for even those in his own party to work with him.
That said, I like your proposed lineup. You may get some disagreement from the Duncanites or Ron Paul's "Torch and Pitchfork" following.
