What is the advantage of Ethanol E100? It's a combination of high-performance and high mileage for any situation. E100 means that the car runs at any percentage mixture of ethanol, gas, natural compressed gas or even pure ethanol (which is less expensive), or pure gas, if the owner so chooses. It's up to you, the owner, how to combine the fuels. To sum it up, it is a very flexible fuel vehicle!

I think I can predict which companies making these electrics, hybrids, and trybrids will succeed and which will fail with a simple formula....which ones look stupid and which don't.

You’d think so - but just look at the Prius. Can you imagine seeing this amphibian thing in your rear view mirror? Perhaps it’ll be popular on the coast... ?

I am surprised that the Pious...or Prius...sold so well. But some of the new products that I am seeing that are from American companies (start-ups) that use similar or better concepts and look cool I think will sell much better...unless the Democrats can make sure they never become street legal.

I'd like to see the filler hose that takes both gas and liquid. Shoot, I'd like to see them pump in gasoline while the tank is a quarter full of CNG - from a safe distance, of course.

In thinking about your post I realized that the auto industry itself, at least here in the US, has become politized. Driving a "Prissy Pious Prius" (or PPP, or just plain pee) demonstrates the drivers commitment to Liberalism, for example. And Apple v. PC (while I don't care for windows, I care even less for macs) is another obvious example of Liberal v Conservative in the marketplace.

An interesting thing about socialism and communism - EVERYTHING is political, and we're heading down that road.

Sigh.

Anyway, if these start-ups can produce an ecologically sound yet fun car that aims itself at conservatives - or even at just plain people - they should sell well. Provided they don't look like gay frogs on wheels.

That 'one tank' bit sounds a little strange. Gasoline and butanol I could see getting along quite well, but gasoline and E100, or pure alcohol? I don't think so. And adding a compressed gas to the mix? Would it be okay to still smoke while filling up?

My 84 Honda Accord is just about the same. No thanks I'll keep my paid for gas guzzler thanks.
