WASHINGTON (AP) _ Upstate congressman Maurice Hinchey will offer a bill publicly upbraiding President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney over the Iraq war.

Hinchey, D-Hurley, will push the House version of a censure bill first proposed by Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis. on Sunday.

The Democratic congressman, whose district stretches from the Hudson River Valley west toward Binghamton, is a longtime and severe critic of the Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq.

Was there ever a Congress as arrogant as this one? No sooner do the Democrats control the legislative branch than they think they have the right to control the executive branch too.

REP. MAURICE HINCHEY UNHINGED

Little Green Footballs has been all over the story of Democrat Maurice Hinchey, the N.Y. congressman who claims Karl Rove planted the CBS Rathergate memos.

back in March of 2000 candidate GWB came to Binghamton to walk in the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Hinchey made was pushing and elbowing to get to the front of the line. My town supervisor told him he was being an asshole. When he got to the front and forced himself on the future President our leader replied: “Get your own f*cking parade”. Hinchey’s been a GWB-phobe ever since.

Hopefully the ragheads and one well placed nuke will take care of that for us.

Too many morons voting for too many morons, this form of Government needs to be seriously overhauled.

Only property owners should be allowed to vote.

A Hinchey from Hurley? Sounds like a Dr Seuss book or the start of a dirty limrick.

Are you sure this isn’t Cindy Sheehan? Looks a lot like her.

PS: Hinchey is a certifiable nut. Tried to protect Saddam Hussein and his lovable family of rapists, torturers and murderers. Oh, I forgot - he’s a Democrat. Nuff said.

On second thought, this photo could also be one of Hillary Clinton (she has had some bad photographic days); Pelosi after surgery?; Boxer after her last brain cell committed suicide? Cynthia McKinney running for congress, again? Comrade Rep. Barbara Lee - notice that the photo shows “red”?

There once was a Hinchey from Hurley
Anatomically male but was girly
His voice sounded shrill
Like the Pant-Suited Hill
And his legs were nearly as burly.

The Gottlieb-Tartaro Report An Insiders Guide for Gun Owners Issue 002 February, 1995

Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) pleaded no contest Jan. 5 to acharge of carrying a loaded handgun in his baggage at Washington National Airport and was given a "suspended imposition of sentence."

Hinchey's lawyer, David Lenefsky, said, "We did not plead guilty to anything because we had no intent to violate any statute."

Lenefsky said that by his plea Hinchey acknowledged the hand gun was his and that he had a license to carry it in New York, but not in Virginia.

"The handgun was inadvertently in a piece of luggage I took from my upstate New York home when I drove back to Washington for the late-November congressional session, and it was still in that piece of unopened luggage on Dec. 1 when I decided to fly back to New York, "Hinchey said in a statement.

Hinchey, who voted for the anti-gun Brady Bill, appeared before Judge Joseph Gwaltney in a county district court. The judge's slap-on-the-wrist ruling means sentencing was suspended and will be lifted automatically in a year. You know what would have happened if it had been you instead of a Congressman -you'd get out of prison sometime in the Twenty-Third Century.

Oh yes. Maurice Hinchey. My parents neighbor. Funny his Hurley residency was not listed here...

Folks all say he does good work but when you ask them what he has done, you get a blank look. Hillary like.

Wonder if his son still deals drugs?
