Wait for it. Here comes Pissant and crew to start a Trash Fred Thread of the Day.....again.
The “savior of conservatism” doesn’t name an Islamic sympathizer to run his campaign. Next.
Are they suggesting that he attempt to "inconspicuously" raise money?
> Another advantage to waiting: the longer he remains an unofficial candidate, the longer NBC can air reruns of Law & Order featuring Thompson as Manhattan DA Arthur Branch without running afoul of the equal-time provision of federal campaign law. <
Ha! I have no doubt whatsoever that if Fred is the Republican nominee we will see rereuns of every episode that makes Branch look bad in the week before the election.
“No he doesn’t!”
“Yes he does!”
“No he doesn’t!”
“Yes he does!”
“No he doesn’t!”
“Yes he does!”
“No he doesn’t!”
“Yes he does!”
“No he doesn’t!”

OK Admin, you can lock the thread now, save some drive space...
I love Fred but to say anyone is the savior of the GOP is just wrong.
These comparisons to “savior” and Reagan etc. that are constantly made by the media are quite suspect IMO.
Trying to gin up completely unrealistic and unattainable expectations that NOBODY in the world could ever live up to.
And if/when a slight stumble is made by the campaign (as happens), the RATS, liberals and Fred bashers can line up with fingers pointed.
All courtesy of and guided by the liberal media. It’s astonishing that more here on this forum don’t see this.
Without death, retirement, or primary challenges against Republican senators who are embarrassments (Lott, Kyl, McCain, Stevens, Grassley, Lugar, Vitter, Specter, Graham, Hagel, Hatch, and Warner), it doesn’t matter a whole lot for the party if Thompson is in the White House vs Romney or even Giuliani for that matter.
TERM LIMITS NOW!
Time Editors.......... NO, there is no human who is our saviour. Us who belive... believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and for that we do not put our trust and faith in man. However, Thompson is a better choice as Presidnet than... Hillary or any liberal.
This non-campaign is getting old. Just another coronation wannabe. Can we get some real candidates who are willing to take the heat and answer questions? Why did you vote to acquit Clinton of perjury, Fred?
John LeBoutillier, the former congressman from NY and Newsmax columnist, suggests that Thompson will enter the race in September and perform so poorly as a candidate that he will be out of the running by November.
He will enter the race on 9/11.
Yikes....does that picture of Fred remind anyone of the Esquire cover with Clinton? Do you think Time was trying to do that intentionally?

No, no man can save the GOP. Men are faulty by nature.
Adopting conservatism as the go to philosophy that will guide the party’s positions CAN HELP save the party from the Rockefellar minority path they’ve been on. Depending on how widely its embraced. certainly having a president that did so would go quite a way to forcing the rest of the party to do just that.
This has to hurt the GOP declared frontrunners. this story is based on TWO assumptions, ONE that the GOP is floundering with a pathetic declared slate. (see political pygmies), TWO that the democrats have their entire act together.
Time also seems to be implying FDT is “the best they can do.”
Naturally Time wants him to look bad. And there he sits, photographed from below at a weird angle that makes his knees bigger than his head and puts his socks and his trouser cuffs front and center, and they even got him with a scowl on his face.
Yet even with that malignant intent to make him look bad, he looks pretty good. Of course he’s scowling. That’s a Time photographer he’s scowling at.
It augurs well for his ability to get past the antics of the liberal press and speak to the people.
Anyone but Rudy.
