Paula Zahn has resigned from CNN. Zahn hosted CNN's 8pm ET program, Paula Zahn Now.
The departure comes just one day after Campbell Brown signed on with CNN. TVNewser joined a conference call around this time yesterday, in which CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein introduced Brown as his network's newest on-air hire. Klein promised an announcement about Brown's primetime program would be made "over the next several days."
Zahn joined CNN in 2001. Her first day on the air was September 11, co-anchoring coverage of the 9/11 attacks with another new hire at the time, Aaron Brown. Later that fall, Zahn began hosting American Morning. From 1999-2001 Zahn anchored a primetime show on Fox News Channel called "The Edge."
Wasn’t it also Paula who read the Supreme Court Florida election decision on the air and then interpreted it completely the opposite of what she had just read?
“Betty Grable, nice gams...”
I'd hit it.
Go here and type in her name to see the videos:
I didn’t say I wouldn’t, my first wife was older than me....
Well the answer to that is no time soon. I am a loyal Fox News fan and never watch CNN.
But this is going to change this fall when CNN goes HD and Fox News, as far as I can tell, sticks to their 70's technology and continues to give us plain old vanilla SD. I can't help it. I just like watching HD much better than standard def TV. In LA the local news is pretty much HD these days and it very high quality. I think Fox had better wake up and get going with their HD programming or they will continue to see the ratings slide that has, I believe, already started. Part of the reason for that slide is their foolish NO HD policy. It is going to bite them.

I see you are cognizant of the “Greatest Generation”.
Anyway, you're right: they had better. :)
