How has a lost his 1st Ammendment rights? He can still go out to any street corner with a sandwich board and inform everybody of his wacky conspiracies like the other crazy people.

"I think that the protection of the First Amendment rights the right to lie, mislead, and commit resume fraud
is vital to the ACLU and other antiAmerican groups in the university and in the general public," said Cathy Hazouri, executive director of ACLU of Colorado.

There, fixed it.

The First Amendment prevents the government from imposing restrictions on speech, such as banning literature from a certain political group, expressing opinions on the lifestyles of others, advocating the overthrow of government.

Oh, wait, that’s right, most of that’s forbidden now, thanks to the liberals. Can’t have hate speech, you know.

But nothing, anywhere, says that you can act like a moron and still expect to be employed. Ward Churchhill’s plagiarism’s will continue no matter if he’s employed by Colorado University or not. He’ll still express wacko ideas. Well, guess this wasn’t a First Amendment case after all.

Now, had he said that La Raza should rise up, and take over, he’d likely still have his chair. Had he said the White people should rise up, and take over, he’d be shown the electric swingset by the ACLU. (Sorry, electric chair is forbidden, they’re against such things...)

Nice of them to protect Churchill’s right to plagiarize and to lie about his qualifications. /s

Has the ACLU become a collection of Marxist deadheads?

Well that settles it if the ACLU says it’s a bad thing to do then -— LET’S DO IT, and I quote a phrase of a Scot Cabbie and Amateur Footballer from Glasgow; Ward Churchill - ‘aboot ye!’

The University of Colorado’s report on the investigation of Ward Churchill’s alleged scholarly misconduct has just been released.

Churchill was found guilty of deliberate false assertions, misrepresentation of sources, and plagiarism.

Among other things, Churchill was found guilty of passing off others’ work as his own (plagiarism), but also of passing off his own work as others’.

This “permits the author to create the false appearance that his claims are supported by other scholars when, in fact, he is the only source for such claims”...

I guess the ACLU does not support the free speech rights of high school valedictorians when they mention God or Jesus during their graduation speeches? No...this type of free speech is targeted by the communists/stalinists of the ACLU.
The ACLU is ‘The enemy within’.

Support the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF)... an orgainization that fights the ACLU on all fronts.

SWEET Ann Coulter takes another look at the Ward Churchill controversy:

Tenure was supposed to create an atmosphere of open debate and inquiry, but instead has created havens for talentless cowards who want to be insulated from life. Rather than fostering a climate of open inquiry, college campuses have become fascist colonies of anti-American hate speech, hypersensitivity, speech codes, banned words and prohibited scientific inquiry.

Even leftists don’t try to defend Churchill on grounds that he is Galileo pursuing an abstract search for the truth. They simply invoke “free speech,” like a deus ex machina to end all discussion. Like the words “diverse” and “tolerance,” “free speech” means nothing but: “Shut up, we win.”

This is absurd. No one has arrested him, let alone sentenced him to anything. He can espouse his idiocy to anyone he likes without facing any legal consequences. That doesn’t mean that the university is legally bound to keep him employed there.

Damn, the ACLU becomes more of a fringe group every year. What kind of person would donate to them?

What they don’t get is this. Ward Churchill was not hired by the University for the purpose of expressing his opinion. He was hired to teach. Most students and parents, the people that pay him, are unhappy with his teaching. Therefore he should be terminated.

When we have come so far in this country that people can’t follow this logical series of conclusions, the system needs an overhaul.

So it does not matter to the phony ACLU that his credentials are false and he’s pligarized other work. Geeze. What a bunch of anti-American dolts. Can’t see facts for their agenda.
Screw them all. They’re worth nothing to this nation.

In a sane world, membership or support of the ACLU would be grounds for arrest.

I hope they don’t fire him. Let him hang like an albatross around the necks of the leftist eduKKKrat scum to remind the public of the depraved, degenerate, evil-abetting nature of today’s eduKKKation system.

The Founders never said that there will NEVER be any consequences to exercising 1st Amendment rights.

You can’t act like a friggin idiot and your employer has to keep you on because of it. You wind up tarnishing the institution’s reputation by making it appear they encourage idiots to work there.

How bout letting christians pray in schools, ACLU? No 1st Amendment for YOU! (Soup Nazi ACLU)

They certainly are one group I will not miss when the big quake hits the Left Coast.

Ward Churchill deserves nothing less than tar and feathering and being run out of town tied to a rail

(then to be buried up to the neck in a red ant hill )

Give the phony native American some of his own medicine
