I take it that your principles are to have a Republican win. You don’t care who or what kind of job they will do, only that a Republican will win.
If those were my principles I would have joined the Democratic party.
I am in favor of conservative principles.
One other thing. A Republican will be in the General election either way. I don’t see what you are so scared of.
This is going to be a tough sell to all the well intentioned Duncan-maniacs but they need to realize in the early stages that while their hero has a proper conservative mentality and outlook; says the right things;. nevertheless DH is too deficient as a politician to acquire anymore than single digit percents in the primaries.
Plus he has nothing on his resume to indicate that he is capable at all of administering the federal government. A store front legal office and 13 terms in the house is too lightweight a resume for chief executive. No amount of rah-rah from his extremely devoted fan club will wipe away these deficiencies or make him a good enough politician to advance to become the next president. And that is a shame; but the die is already cast.
Here is the danger in all this. His fledgling campaign bombs out, his supporters get disillusioned and pitch a tantrum and refuse to participate in electing the nominee. And we all lose for it.
A true leader gets the job done and done right.

In your reply 55, you are suggesting that conservative energy is siphoned off by someone who is not nationally recognized somehow will lead to a dissipation of energies. You implied here that the siphoning was being done by a conservative. Afterall, who else but a conservative can siphon off energies?
Then in your reply 96, you stated you are not for a RINO who flouts conservative principles. Which is it?
You are running scared and you won’t admit it. The results will be the downfall of this country by people so scared that Hillary will win, that they will do everything out of fear and will, probably, get her elected by their actions.
Being a flag officer and running a war successfully is qualifying because it shows the individual has organizational and executive abilities. I luv DH and wish there were a million like him, but he doesn’t have the God given abilities to get nominated, let alone win the election, nor govern the nation. The future will unfold just as I predict and that needs to be accepted.
