Received an email:
Thank you for your generous support of the John Batchelor Show.
This weekend, on Sunday, July 22, 2007
John Batchelor will be guest host for Matt Drudge on Drudge Radio
If you'd like to write to Premiere Radio Networks to invite them to establish the John Batchelor Show as a regular, five-day-a-week program, please send a courteous message to Larry Morgan, whose address is below.
Political and military threats in the Middle East and elsewhere have profoundly increased since the last John Batchelor Show on September 1, 2006. Also, the United States is already deeply into a presidential contest that is more heat than light, more cash than clarity; and yet, over the next sixteen months, the American people must choose a new leadership to continue the defense of liberty under attack since September 11, 2001.
In view of all this turmoil and mystery, from Gaza to Kashmir to the fragile biosphere, the noisy, baking, charged summer of 2007 is the right time to restore the pre-eminent English-language news and analysis radio program, the John Batchelor Show.
Kind regards to each of you from
the staff of the John Batchelor Show

Sounds good buddy - I’ll be there!
His show ended last September and he thought that he would be back on the air ‘ late fall ‘ ( his words ) of 2006. I think you’ll find he is one the more interesting and bright radio hosts out there.
Here is a link to his home page. http://www.johnbatchelorshow.com/
Check it out.
Remember when we were all tuned in and on the live thread
a yr ago.
lainie has a live thread for Drudge’s program on Sunday’s.
You can stream the first half hr. 6:30 -7pm on WABC
Then pick up from 7 - 10pm live on local KOGO on radio
Hey— I just sent my email. Hope they restore him to five nights a week.
I have to agree with your analysis of him as a “typical NYC liberal republican.” I didn’t know he was off the air because I have not listened to WABC since they canned Steve Malzberg.
Ditto
and on X-M
It was Batchelor and Alexander. I listened, as it had good bumper music, quotes and decent content, but did tire of Kate after a while. I hope he mixes it up a little better this time. C2C is mostly a wasteland of goofy PhDs. Steve Malzberg is brilliant though Steve should be on earlier.
ping
Are you aware of Steve’s new gig on WOR?
Nice lead in, thanks for the ping, Sir.
You’re welcome of course. John is a unique talent and I’m glad he getting the gig. I’d love to see him land a late night slot (after Steve)
Yes, thank you. I see the thread on here all the time, but I have not tuned in yet. I have periodic bouts of serious insomnia and I have never found a replacement for him to get me through the nite. Maybe I’ll try tuning in to hear him this evening on WOR.
That would be a real win for WOR.
Now if we could just get them to fix the stream!
This is so cool! I miss Batchelor’s radio show. Hope he plays Kate at closing!
Well, just fyi.
There is an on demand feature that you can use in the middle of the night that will work well for you. http://www.wor710.com. Click on Steve’s pic and you will find the previous days 3 hours as 3 seperate clips to play or podcast.
My sleep is very irratic so I understand.
Steve got me through some very long nights years ago!
Thanks for the link. Next time I am up all nite, I’ll try it as c2c drives me up the wall and that seems to be all my radio gets after 1 a.m.
Thought this might interest you.
Thanks for the ping and I love your tagline, it is so true.
