U.S. senator raises half-million dollars in second quarter
WASHINGTON -- U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham raised more than a half-million dollars in the second quarter of this year, pushing his campaign war chest above $4 million.
Among the 21 Republican senators seeking re-election next year, only Sens. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky -- the GOP Senate leader -- and John Cornyn of Texas reported having more cash on hand, as of June 30, than the $4,040,396 in Graham's campaign account.

I have come to believe that the RNC engineered at least some of our 06 losses to give Bush a "congress he could work with" on amnesty.
My own opinion is that the RNC is out to get social conservatives in general, not just the pro-immigration-enforcement ones.

You mean Rahm Emmanuel doesnt want another Senate seat? He'd have to convince the SC Dems to go for it. They don't have the talent on the bench to begin with, but with Lindsee in there, they don't see the need to bother looking.

Goober should lose, but may win with the help of libs.
Maybe not. The libs might be smart enough to understand that they have a better shot at beating an underfunded upstart Republican who beats the sitting senator in the primary than the sitting senator himself.

I came to the same conclusion starting in 2004 and Dr. Coburn was a prime example but he won anyway without DC. Club for Growth did a great job of helping out with funds for Dr. Coburn.
Chamber of Commerce was behind the Immigration bill as well and look what happened to that.
Look at Arlen Specter as an example of someone that the WH/RNC got behind in 2004 and he paid them back with his pushing Immigration. If Toomey had been elected they would not have stood a chance getting his vote on Immigration — he would have been a solid NO.

IMHO, David Wilkins is the first person whom conservatives should approach. Obviously, he still has connections back in South Carolina who are still in touch with him.
If he’s not interested, there are several other possibilities, but I think he would be the best choice.

IMO, a GOP challenger needs gonads and a spine. Get out there and detail Grahams’s reprehensible actions. Along with exposing Graham, take on the DemoRat challenger detailing the Liberal’s trashing of our country and our brave troops who fighting to keep us safe. IMO, the GOP has more than ample ammunition to take the Liberal human debris on; it just takes guts, spine, and the truth. Go door to door if need be and tell the people, up close and personal, what the stakes are for them, their children, and their grandchildren. Being nice got us into this mess; being forceful and fighting Liberals on their level will get us out.
To: PhiKapMom
Do you have any of his statements to that effect?
I heard him interviewed on KSFO during the immigration flap, and he was arguing with Melanie Morgan, and he was FOR amnesty. He said they would “eventually” vote Republican.

Miss Lindsey sounds worried. He should be.
With that kind of money, he doesn't need to worry. Sad to say but in politics, more than any other arena, money talks. Someone said: "Money is the Mother's Milk of Politics". Sad but true.
Looks like the little jerk will be reelected.

Well you never know, security camera images of the little pansy trolling men's room in I-95 rest areas in South Carolina might suddenly pop up, or something like that. LOL

Maybe a corporation can dump some $$ o him but it just takes votes from us little folks to make him a 1 termer. I WILL vote Democratic if we do not have an alternitive.

If he wins the primary, conservatives in SC still shouldnt vote for Graham in the general. Let the Rat beat him. <<
Interesting how you accused anyone who didn't support unelectable loser Katherine Harris in the PRIMARY of being in favor of electing a communist RAT in the general, yet you are advocating electing a communist RAT in South Carolina if you don't get your way in the primary.
Why not just donate to the SC Democratic Party while you're at it? They'll use the money alot more effectively to keep Harry Reid in power.
Here's ALEX SANDERS the commie RAT that Graham DEFEATED last time. Sorry your guy lost. Things would be soooooo much better if we had THIS abortion loving, terrorist-approving surrender monkey "representing" the people of South Carolina, eh?
