The Republican Party is ignoring Libertarian/Reagan Democrats at their own peril. Say what you want about Paul - but he does have a viable coalition of folks who are sick and tired of the big-government/globalist status quo from the duopoly. Some of them are liberals, and yes, Paul does have fringe, anarchist kooks who support him. But that shouldn't be a slight on the man himself.
Now I don't support Paul's presidential run (But I do support his candidacy itself, there's a difference) and I agree that he's unlikely to get the nomination. But these Libertarians, independents, and folks who don't normally participate in politics? They're the folks who decide elections, effing GOP idiots. How about ending the drug war and staying out of Mideast politics after the job is done in Iraq, & the GOP would be in power.

" They're the folks who decide elections, effing GOP idiots." Ooops! I think you mistakenly posted this on Freerepublic instead of moveon.org where it belongs.

Ron Paul’s campaign is the repub’s version of Howard Dean’s.
We all know how that turned out.

I'm no Paul supprter but that is really what it's all about. Personally I think the "top tier" candidates are making a big mistake in trying to ignore it.

"No one forced you to click on the thread." Bull S*&*^!!!
This is Freerepublic, and you just posted a pro-Ron Paul thread. (still can't figure out why some Freepers support a surrender monkey)
This thread deserves severe shredding.

"If he is a rock star, I am Marie Antoinette." I wouldn't think that proclaiming him to be a "Rock Star" would be an attractive metaphore to Conservatives.
Most "Rock Stars" I know are surrender monkeys just like Ron Paul.

This is Freerepublic, and you just posted a pro-Ron Paul thread It's a legitimate news article written by someone in the MSM. It's not like it came off a pro-Ron Paul blog or something. I don't post from the blogs.
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Rock star? Ron Paul?
