D.C. Chapter Alert: Cindy Sheehan to Desecrate Arlington Cemetery 7/23/07
Tuesday, July 17, 2007 | Kristinn

Posted on 07/17/2007 8:18:22 PM PDT by kristinn

The D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com invites all Freepers and lurkers in good standing to join us Monday morning, July 23rd, at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery to stand up to Cindy Sheehan and her anti-American comrades as they attempt to desecrate Arlington with a so-called antiwar protest.

Sheehan has called the terrorists in Iraq 'freedom fighters' and has traveled the world supporting our enemies. With the surge in Iraq succeeding, Sheehan has come out of retirement to aid her 'freedom fighters' by urging the impeachment of the two men who have kept the terrorists at bay for almost six years: President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

When: 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2007.

Where: The sidewalk near the Metro entrance on Memorial Drive, Arlington National Cemetery.

Bring: Flags and signs bearing messages supporting our troops, their commander-in-chief and America's victory in the war on terror.

Metro/Parking: Take the Blue line to Arlington Cemetery/ Parking only at the pay lot just inside the entrance to Arlington Cemetery.

As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for demonstrating will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

P.S. Cindy will be marching to the White House and then to Congress to hold a sit in at Rep. John Conyers' office. Please consider spending the whole day with us as we have 'fun' with Cindy.

Have at her, folks, she’s all yours. ConcreteBob and I met up at her little rally here in Richmond, and another lady as well. Cindy was there maybe 1/2 hour total and the whole thing lasted about an hour. Maybe 150 of her supporters showed up. I went just in case she needed directions on how to leave town.

She must be doing some speed walkin’ with that itinerary.

Spit on the ground she walks on, for me.

Thank you for guarding those gates of Heaven, again.

For the record, I watched security at ANC make protesters throw their signs away at those gates at GOE on March 17. I stood there for a long while after POP and I parted company, watching. After being made to ditch their signs-

one officer looked at them like they were morons and said, “This is a CEMETARY.”

-they decided it wasn’t worth their while to go in.

Freema,

It’s looking like I’ll be up there at ANC Thursday for a service. A 3/1 Marine.

Hopefully they’d rip her apart and throw her parts into the ocean where there are many, many sharks. (Of course, there are a lot of sharks in Congress, too. My o my.)

Iraq war critic Cindy Sheehan to speak in Allentown The Morning Call

Cindy Sheehan, the mother whose son's death in the Iraq war transformed her into a controversial public critic of President Bush, will speak in Allentown, but not at Muhlenberg College.

Sheehan plans to talk about accountability for the Iraq War, highlighting her arguments for getting American troops out of Iraq and the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

Her speech is scheduled for the Sterling Hotel, 343 W. Hamilton St., at 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from local peace activists.

A peace walk from Allentown's National Guard armory, 15th and Allen, to the Sterling Hotel will precede Sheehan's talk.

Sheehan's appearances are often controversial, and her local speech met with controversy last week when members of Lepoco, a social action group based in Bethlehem, announced that Sheehan would be in the area speaking at a rally at Muhlenberg College's chapel.

----------------------------------------------------

Any Freepers in the Allentown area? BYW, thank you Muhlenberg College.
