Salt Lake City mayoral hopeful Keith Christensen's newly minted support for a downtown skywalk will not vault Mayor Rocky Anderson back into the race after all. "I'm out. I'm not running for re-election," Anderson said Friday, slamming shut the third-term door he had creaked open last month.

Because the city proper is liberal and rodent. There hasn’t been a Republican Mayor of SLC since Jake Garn 33 years ago.

He used to come to my shop on Saturdays and hang out wearing his old bib overalls. He's still around, working in the state government now. They don't make democrats like that anymore.
