I'd agree to one kind of "reparation"...any black person currently a citizen of the US and who is residing in the US can have a free,first class air ticket to the African capital city of his/her choice.Transportation of his/her personal possessions to that same African city would be included free of charge.

Acceptance of this offer would result in the automatic and immediate revocation of the individual's US citizenship and that of all of his/her minor children.

I'm just imagining, if reparations actually became a reality, of the zillions in fraud cases that would occur with nonblacks claiming blackness, illegal alien blacks coming here to claim their prize, legal resident blacks who came from Jamaica, Haiti, Ehiopia, or Kenya whose ancestors had no connection to being enslaved, etc.

Other than that, imagine how this would play out. Each "slave descendent" gets a check for $10K, $50K, $100K - whatever.

Knowing what we know about sudden wealth, not to mention ignorant as dirt welfare recipients, combined with human nature, where do you suppose that instant money will go? A new house, new cars, vacations, jewelry, lotto tickets, and drugs.

And then the money is gone. And they will be no better off than before. They will NOT have used the money for education, for investments, for business start ups, or simply for saving for the future.

And the "it wasn't fully funded" drumbeat will begin.
