TACOMA, Wash. — A 42-year-old convicted sex offender from Thailand who entered the U.S. illegally was being questioned by police Friday after he provided information that led to the discovery of the body of 12-year-old Zina Linnik, who police believe was kidnapped July 4 while watching a fireworks display.

He is an illegal immigrant sex offender, yet he managed to get a car registered and to register to vote. After they fry him, they need to redo their voter registration process.

That's completely false. The perp is a legal immigrant who entered as a child. That he was not deported after his 1990 conviction is an issue, but he certainly didn't enter illegally.

I’d be willing to bet that this POS did not cross the Rio Grande and walk through the desert to get to Washington State. You don’t get here from Thailand that way. He came by ship or airplane. Or he could have walked over from Canada.
