WASHINGTON (CNN) CNN has learned more staff members from Sen. John McCains struggling presidential bid are expected to depart the campaign Monday, the latest in a string of setbacks for the Arizona Republicans once surefire candidacy.
A source tells CNNs Candy Crowley at least one senior staffer is among those who plan to call it quits early next week.
The news comes days after McCains top two strategists were forced out following bleak second quarter fundraising numbers and excessive spending that left the campaign with a paltry $2 million cash on hand and $1.75 million in debt.
The campaign must officially report its financial status to the Federal Elections Commission by this Sunday.

McCain’s going through staff almost as fast as Katherine Harris did during her Senate campaign.
Only in the MSM's wet dreams.
Idf HE drops out he will be one bitter man.
It’s McCain, not staff at fault here!
One RINO down...a few more to go!
Last one out, turn off the switch on that mechanical RINO.
Here in Arizona the turnover rate is extremely high everywhere. Maybe he can hire an illegal alien staff at a much cheaper rate.
I'm photoshop challenged, but with a little work, this would seem to be the ideal gif.
How will we be able to tell?
Good question....(chuckle)
McCain can still joke about his troubles: ‘I fired ‘em all’ he quips

There is another article currently on Drudge in which McCain accepts responsibility for his campaign’s dismal condition(”I’m the candidate”). Ironic, because all he has to do to complete his transition to liberal democrat is to deny responsibility; but, he is accepting responsibility.
Last one out be sure to turn off the lights.....
Oh, it won’t matter ‘cause the utilities will be cut off soon for non-payment......
After the last two presidential election cycles, any honest observer would have concluded that McCain had nearly zero chance of becoming the Republican nominee. I never understood why anybody would think otherwise.
Ah.. the great wizard McCain. Looks like his Straight Jacket Express Bus has blown an engine. Time to call the wrecker service.
So right.
