A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; our weekend threads now start on Friday and continue through Sunday. "Wear Red" Friday

You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.

Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.

I can tell it's Friday the 13th,

The moonbats are out in full force!

Guess it's also a full moon too!

I was on the light-rail trian on my way to work this morning at a quarter to 5.

When I overheard this overnight trucker, (who listens to Coast to Coast) who is an obvious fan of George Noory, telling this other guy about how truthfull the program is and how far out Rush and Sean and other Conservative "Whacko's" are.

He was really building up all these fantasies of Noory and his guests as GOSPEL TRUTH, and Folks like Rush, Sean, Michael Savage; Mark Levin, You, Me, George Bush, And all others who think like us or simular to us are SOCIALISTS.

They(Noory and his ilk) believe in the conspiracy of the North American Union, That President Bush plans to cancel the 2008 election (also that Bush ans the Congress are aliens and Reptilians bent on world domination),Also there is the Bilderburger conspiracy, and don't leave out Roswell!

I just sat there shakeing my head and trying to keep myself from laughing out loud as hard as I could at the credance they were giving all this gobbly gook!

I'm adopting a new atitude, or at least I'm working on it.

I'm ony gonna think positive thoughts, A real trick when you work and live in a place were you are surrounded by a plethora of negativity. But I'm sure I can maintain a positive atitude if I keep my mind on it. and keep focused.

Hope your day is fabulous.

Two guys are bungee-jumping one day. The first guy says to the second, “You know, we could make a lot of money running our own bungee-jumping service in Mexico, because labor is cheaper and other costs.”

The second guy thinks this is a great idea, so the two pool their money and buy everything they’ll need - a tower, an elastic cord, insurance, etc.

They travel to Mexico and begin to set up on the square. As they are constructing the tower, a crowd begins to assemble to see this new attraction. Slowly, more and more people gather to watch them at work.

When it’s time to test their system, the first guy jumps. He bounces at the end of the cord, but when he comes back up, the second guy notices that he has a few cuts and scratches. Unfortunately, the second guy isn’t able catch him. He falls back toward the cheering crowd, bounces and comes back up again.

This time, he is bruised and bleeding. Again, the second guy misses him. The first guy falls again and bounces back up. This time, he comes back pretty messed up - he’s got a couple of broken bones and is almost unconscious. Luckily, the second guy finally catches him this time and says, “What happened? Was the cord too long?”

The first guy says, “No, the cord was fine, but what the heck is a ‘Pinata’?”

Wished I looked as cute as ‘da bear’ when I got up in the morning. Feeling puny today, just called my doctor. Been putting it off. Whole family has had this, throat, ears, and feeling weak goes along. I am trying to have a good day. Hope you and all the Finest have a great day~~~~
