Man, this load from the Seattle-PI has it all. I'm shocked he left out space aliens and the tooth fairy as responsible for global warming denial as well.

All responsible for global warming threat includes:

Republicans Creationists Chinese water grabbers Timber industry "Right-wing" Canadian Press "Right-wing" Drudge Report Gore Bashers Tennesse Think Tanks Drive-by shooting style global warming deniers in the media

The liberals are hysterical and won't debate the subject. In their minds, there is no debate.

AS THE WORLD'S scientists near consensus on human causes of climate change

But....but....haven't we been told for the past year that there IS a consensus? Did this reporter not get the memo???

"AS THE WORLD'S scientists near consensus on human causes of climate change..."

Wait a second, I was told there already WAS consensus. And they've been saying that man is the chief cause, not just "a" cause with things like cow farts and other "natural causes" being a sum total larger part of the cause.

They still need to explain what is causing the global warming on Mars (an Inconvenient Sun).

The Left says we're doomed in ten years. On the other hand, they say we can wait fifty years to lick the problem. Which is it? Their contradictory stands on "global warming" make no sense whatsoever. So yes, I deny the problem since its clear warming and cooling of the planet are forces in which man, if anything, plays a marginal role.

...no one expects the Global Warming Inquisition.. (apologies to Monty Python)

What better proof of global warming becoming a quasi religious cult when there can be no questioning of the global warming dogma even if scientific evidence says it might be wrong.

They have rejected God and created their substitute religion of Earth worship, where Global Warming is the "original sin".

As a new and radical religion, it's only natural that they brand disbelievers and skeptics as "infidels" or "heretics". They may use different terms, but that's what, in essence, they are doing. Believe in the cult of Gaia or be declared damned.

Earth maybe getting warmer, but it sure as hell isn't about man! By the way, how's all the forest fires contributing that we have out here in the west? The cause - greenies. If the forests were properly managed by those with knowledge, we wouldn't be seeing the fires we are seeing now!

Man, this load from the Seattle-PI has it all.

It's a pantload alright. Political correctness has always been about criminalizing any debate. You tow the liberal line or else be convicted of "thoughtcrime".

Watch how they litigate the conservatives (600 investigations since the Democrats took office in January).

"Their new tactic is the drive-by shooting."

Well isn't that special? He could at least acknowledge stealing Rush Limbaugh's "drive-by media" phrase and turning it on its head.

“Exxon is cutting contributions and distancing itself from the global warming denial industry.”

“global warming denial industry”. Riiight. Why do liberals insist in living in bizzarro, backwards world. The only “global warming industry” is the one Al Gore created to enrich himself.

The deniers haven't conceded defeat, and lately have found a substitute for the "sound science" they once demanded.

Notice how he put quotation marks around "sound science" to indicate ridicule and contempt for the idea. What an ass.

To be a denier of Global Warming or Climate Change is bad for Carbon Offset Trading, which is bad for companies like The CarbonNeutral Company and The Chicago Climate Exchange which in turn is bad for investment firms like Generation Investment Management (GIM) which does not bode well for it’s CEO, the Honorable Al Gore.

We don't know how bad it will get.

Nobody is certain what will happen.

And what if nothing happens?

So far, however, change has proceeded at a faster pace than even pessimistic scientists predicted a few years ago.

The weather changes...in cycles. So what's the point?

The "climate crud" would be an annoyance were it not distracting -- and dangerous.

The only danger is that faced from the stupid liberals running around, masquerading as scientists, crying that the sky is falling and that the only solution is to convert to Marxism.

The public isn't buying the hype on man-made global warming, so they are in frantic damage control mode.

The fact that the carbon credits scheme is little more than a power grab and get rich scheme by unscrupulous con men such as Al Gore is becoming obvious to more and more people.

They've destroyed their credibility with those who demand rational explanations, so they have increased their attacking those that oppose them based on appealing to emotions instead.

That's how con men work, and that's what liberals really are.

Or look to the Arctic. The melting of permafrost is faster than predicted, raising the potential release of vast amounts of methane, which would further accelerate climate change.

Maybe by renaming this to tempofrost, the author's doomsday fears might lessen.

A rightist Canadian paper, the National Post, ran a recent story claiming that solar output drives climate change, and that sunspots point to global cooling.

How DARE they suggest that the huge ball of fire in the sky that is 1 MILLION times as large as the earth cause climate change! The nerve!
