AS THE WORLD'S scientists near consensus on human causes of climate change, even Exxon is cutting contributions and distancing itself from the global warming denial industry.

The deniers haven't conceded defeat, and lately have found a substitute for the "sound science" they once demanded. Their new tactic is the drive-by shooting.

The objective is distraction, to be achieved by demeaning the oracles, particularly the "Goreacle," of global warming.

Man, this load from the Seattle-PI has it all. I'm shocked he left out space aliens and the tooth fairy as responsible for global warming denial as well.

Wait a second, I was told there already WAS consensus. And they've been saying that man is the chief cause, not just "a" cause with things like cow farts and other "natural causes" being a sum total larger part of the cause.

What better proof of global warming becoming a quasi religious cult when there can be no questioning of the global warming dogma even if scientific evidence says it might be wrong.

They have rejected God and created their substitute religion of Earth worship, where Global Warming is the "original sin".

As a new and radical religion, it's only natural that they brand disbelievers and skeptics as "infidels" or "heretics". They may use different terms, but that's what, in essence, they are doing. Believe in the cult of Gaia or be declared damned.

To be a denier of Global Warming or Climate Change is bad for Carbon Offset Trading, which is bad for companies like The CarbonNeutral Company and The Chicago Climate Exchange which in turn is bad for investment firms like Generation Investment Management (GIM) which does not bode well for it’s CEO, the Honorable Al Gore.

The public isn't buying the hype on man-made global warming, so they are in frantic damage control mode.

The fact that the carbon credits scheme is little more than a power grab and get rich scheme by unscrupulous con men such as Al Gore is becoming obvious to more and more people.

They've destroyed their credibility with those who demand rational explanations, so they have increased their attacking those that oppose them based on appealing to emotions instead.

That's how con men work, and that's what liberals really are.

There never is debate. Political correctness dictates the positions YOU should have on the “issues”.

And ALL of their crap is being taught in schools as pure fact with no controversy.

Homosexuality is normal and equal to heterosexual couplings. Engage in sexual experimentation, life is a pornucopia of fetishes, get started now. (look into the Sex Positive agenda sometime)

Life does not begin until birth and so abortion is a moral choice to save a child from a life without “quality” (whether that be poverty, birth defects, or having the bad luck of being the wrong sex). Schools will even take your daughter to the clinic and keep it quiet.

Al Gore’s film is being shown in schools as “required” viewing without rebuttal.
