The Enviromental Messiah Al Gore Gets Crucified: Live Earth Dies!

Al “The Goracle” Gore, failed 2000 Presidential candidate and former co-conspirator to Bill “BJ” Clinton threw a huge party for all of his Chicken Little the Sky is Falling crowd to raise awareness for Climate Change, formerly known as WEATHER. Well, as it would turn out, Katie Couric gets better ratings then Al Gore and his traveling Cathedral of Global Warming: NEW YORK — NBC’s three-hour primetime “Live Earth” special, which included highlights from Saturday’s global concerts, failed to generate much enthusiasm in the ratings.

The estimated 2.7 million viewers was slightly under the 3 million viewers NBC has averaged on Saturday nights in the summer with repeats and the Stanley Cup hockey playoffs on what is already the least-popular night of television.

It also performed below the Live 8 concert two years ago, according to preliminary estimates released Monday by Nielsen Media Research.

Ya, I saw a UK article that said the event totally sucked.

They’re still trying to re-create Woodstock it seems, when they thought they were “making a difference”.

Keep this up, though, and we *may* have a new candidate for president, someone “red” and “green”.

Bad publicity is just going to stir up the liberal hornets nest. Screaming louder, more unhinged, getting further away from reality.

These are the people who should be deliriously supportive of Dingell’s stiff carbon tax bill, right?

So is this the head wound of the antichrist that he recovers from and goes on to rule the world?

If you mix red and green, don't you get fecal brown?

*snicker*

I’m sure it’s hard to pick, but I think the biggest bimbo I heard about was Cameron Diaz. It’s especially sad when certain ones try to sound intelligent.

I caught a bit on MSNBC (man, does TV stink this summer, or what?) on Friday and how the “visionary” (read “deluded”) founder of Live Earth talked about how they wanted to make a difference like Woodstock and Live Aid.

Live Aid raised millions for famine relief—where the money went may be an entirely different issue.

But what did Woodstock accomplish? How did Woodstock make a difference?

When I turned on the LE concert (on Sundance) Etheridge was performing. After somewhat dull singing she all of a sudden went into an “agitprop” mode full throttle. Kind of hillarious. She was describing Al Gore as a superhuman moral giant who is sacrificing himself to tell us “the truth” (because for the sake of humanity he can not remain silent any longer). It was absolutely pathetic.

Here go my 10 min contribution to show’s tv ratings...

I cracked up while Ludacris was performing, the lyrics from his one song were talking about flying women all over the world in his private jet, just for partying. I see he takes global warming as seriously as Gore and RFK Jr.

When I was in school many years ago, I was taught that climate change was a part of the evoloutionary process.
Do we ever hear the words “evoloution”, or “adaptation” used as a part of this climate change process??

Absolutely NOT!!! Climate change is caused exclusively by humans and human activity essential to daily living and progress. At least according to Al Sore/ Loserman.

Relax Allah Gore. Even though your iced tea defense was a bust, you could still be a solar tea guru.

Pink Floyds set was a classic.

Not sure if anyone noticed their last song, “Another Brick in the Wall”

“We don’t need no education,
We don’t need no thought control,
No dark sarcasm in the classroom,
Teacher leave us kids alone”

I don’t think the DNC will be inviting Floyd back. I was actually laughing during the song.
