On 7-7-07, The Call took place in Nashville, TN. There was an almost total media blackout in the MSM- an AP story ran on some minor news portals, and local TV stations in Nashville covered it.
However, Titans stadium was filled to overflow capacity as crowds of fasting worshippers encountered God in a corporate act of devotion to His Kingdom.
and a TV news report- over 100,000 attended.
Meanwhile, the organizers of Live Earth are embarrassed at their low turnout and lack of interest- blaming it on 'climate change'!
If by "we" you mean "us saved folks", then, no, we don't only win if we get in the fight; we win -- period.
But it actually goes deeper than that, because the fact is that we do not have an option as to whether or not we get in the fight. We were BORN into the fight; the entire context of life is warfare between Good and Evil, and the souls of men are the prize being fought over. Our only option is whether or not to acknowledge that we're in this fight, grab a sword and start swinging.
In THAT sense, and I think it's what you actually meant, YES, we very much need to get in the fight intentionally.
If "we" [us saved folks] actively engage the battle, we'll have a better grasp of reality than if we cower in the rear of the ranks or, worse, pretend there is no war going on. Regardless, though, whether we get bloody or cower in the back, we all win at the end. The only aspect that changes is the garnish, the basic reward package is the same, single "denarius" (ref. Matt. 20:1-16).
As for "waiting for the Apocalypse"; that's what happens when folks subscribe to bad eschatology. I've been in that category, myself, in the past, and recall feeling very much like a spectator; like there wasn't anything I needed to be doing apart from the standard "watch and pray" duties.
That's a HUGE discussion to broach, here, but I'll risk it just to assert this: we're all in this for the duration. May the Apocalypse find us waitching, praying, AND fighting the good fight of faith.
Ooooohh, I'm envious. My internet was down all day Saturday, so I couldn't connect to god.tv and watch any of it. I didn't see any archive of it on god.tv, so I guess Ill have to join everyone else in waiting for the fruit to appear on the tree.
NBC had lower ratings than Live 8 two years ago...Family Guy won the time period.
Total BS that 2 billion watched any of that event.

I was at the PK meeting in DC back in the late 90s. It was a powerful demonstration of spiritual power. The most powerful city on that planet, and when God’s people converged on it, we shut that city down.
They couldn’t do anything. It was praying men as far as you could see. They estimated between 6 and 7 million.

That is exactly what I was driving at.
Many people don’t want to get in the “messy” business of politics, and many think it doesn’t matter because the Apocalyse is so close at hand. I’ve had this conversation with lots of people who are sitting on their hands waiting for God to come fix everything for them.
I agree, this is too big a discussion to take place here, but I agree with your comment about “waiting for the Apocalypse”.

IHOP has subscription-based live streams from the Prayer Room that you can get right on your computer; an audio only and a couple of video streams.

Now that the media's Jesus fad is over after 9/11 Believers are now portrayed as the moonshinin' toothless, sub-human hillbillies of Deliverance.
Giving, fasting and praying is our Lifeline to Jesus Christ Himself; therefore, we cannot drop the conversion ball as we did after 9/11 when terror drove people to the Lord and we didn't show them his Reality Show.

Guys, it’s been refreshing to read your comments here. There aren’t too many (yet) who understand the imposition of God’s will through spiritual authority, coupled with an awareness of the Spirit’s manifestation here in our lives. Hopefully, this will change.

I know what you mean. Last time I was on here was several years ago. A UPS truck had blown up and they didn't know why. I was concerned for the driver and asked for prayer, I got blasted. And was told basically that if I wanted to talk like that, this person would complain and have me kicked off. Told me to go to the religious section of FR.
I didn't purposely leave because of that, there were some other issues in my life at the time, but, it sure didn't help.
Doesn't seem FR is the same as back then. They had just separated religious things off into another section. It just didn't feel right. Why separate? If someone doesn't like it, they don't have to go onto that post or article.

Dutch shared the revelation that had come that Saturday was a monumental “Court Case” regarding the Body of Christ’s divorce from Baal and that there would be a great custody battle:
1) for the children of the nation ( whoever gets the children gets the land)
2) for the transference of wealth and resources
3) there was repentance that the church has been an unfit mother to the children of this nation but that she will be washed in the blood of Christ and forgiven and be cleansed and made ready for this responsibility again
There was tremendous warfare for this current younger generation and for the ENDING of ABORTION
The Repentance Walk
Over 10,000 (by nature: talkative,unrestrained,prideful) Americans walked in perfect order,harmony,humility and silence for 3 miles right up Church Street to the stadium ... i had a sense that this MOST POWERFUL SILENCE AND HUMILITY (just like the prayers at the Supreme Court these past 3 years) was causing the enemy TO TREMBLE

words cannot describe how seamlessly and flawless the entire 12 hours flowed ...
the crowd was incredibly diverse with hispanic, african and asian americans and all the generations represented !!!!
every segment of the day flowed powerfully - highlights for me included :
* repentance for the church’s sins of sexual perversion, addiction to pornography and abortion
* the declarations of the divorce from baal
* 3 actual weddings/ marriage covenants took place right there in the stadium - it was way TOO COOL!!!!
* the blowing of 300 shofars to announce the Lord’s Victorious Power in the battles that lie ahead
etc etc etc !!!
...please do try to see some of this on godtv !!!!
to God be the glory and to Lou Engle, Dutch Sheets, Mike Bickle, Michael Goll, Che Ahn and multiple other be great thanksgiving for these warriors who lead so beautifully!!!
