July 7, 2007 -- THE ayatollahs may not slap him with a fatwah as they did Salman Rushdie, but fundamentalist clerics are bound to be enraged at Michael Luongo over "Gay Travels in the Muslim World" (Harrington Park Press), his book celebrating homosexuality in the Middle East. Luongo who compiled chapters by 17 writers covering Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Bangladesh, Turkey and Saudi Arabia had the foreword written by Afdhere Jama, the founder of Huriyah, "the world's first magazine for queer Muslims," who, he claims, number 150 million. "There is something intoxicatingly beautiful about an Arab man who paints his eyes with kohl," Jama states in the book.
Luongo writes about his quest to find some man-on-man action in Afghanistan. "I was painfully curious what a gay party would be like in Kabul, but at the same time, I wondered if I were being led into a trap. I wanted a scoop, but I didn't want to be a gay Daniel Pearl," he writes.

The Arab muzzies talk and act like they hate homosexuality, however, the concept of an older male become a “mentor” for young men is common among them. Very much like the ancient greeks. I think they doth protest too much.

150 million gay Muslims, assuming there are 1B total Muslims, would mean well over 30% of the adult male population are rump rangers.

This has been the case in much of the world throughout history, and is very different from the remarkably modern and western concept of “being gay.”
Consider the amount of gay sex that occurs inside prisons among people who would be heterosexual if they had any access to women. Islamic polygamy means that wealthy men have multiple wives, while poor men have none.
Homosexuality is practically the norm in the ME and a lot of it is status-related. More powerful men get to use younger and/or less powerful or lower status males.
I had a friend who was stationed with some Saudis in a joint training exercise, where for some reason they were all staying at a hotel, and all the Saudis did was speculate on what it would be like to bugger the houseboys. He thought they were talking about women at first, and then suddenly he realized they were talking about the teenage boys who worked at the hotel. And to them, this was perfectly normal.

Some credit where credit is due. Homosexuals in the Muslim countries do an awful lot to push the boundaries of Sharia, not just for themselves, but for women too.
I gather in Egypt, a bunch of gay men will have a big party, which is raided by the police, but when taken to court they act astonished that the police seem to be suggesting that they should party with women. Immoral mixing of the sexes!
That is, they use one Sharia rule to attack another Sharia rule. They actually act “holier than thou.”
The basic problem is that in Islam, if you are a guy who goes through the motions of religion, you can pretty well do what you want, unless some other guy stops you. So lots of guys run wild, then claim the Koran lets them.
And in the Sharia courts, more weight is often given to those who claim to be more orthodox.
Economically speaking, a good reason to promote jihad. Poor men go off to the frontier, where most of them die in combat. The successful ones capture wives from the infidels.
In either case, they don't hang around the homeland and cause problems for the powerful guys with harems.
Which is why you see such enthusiasm for jihad among young Muslim men. Do a little research and you will notice that few suicide bombers are married men, or have any reported girlfriends

And they claim it ain’t queer and that pedastry(sp?) is even better than sex with women, since women are unclean for part of the month? Such is tortured Islamic logic and why I am convinced muzzies have inbred so much they have lost their freakin’ minds.
