LONDON: Shahid Malik, a Gujrat born riots hero, made history by earning the honour of becoming the first-ever Muslim minister in the centuries-old historical parliament of Britain.

Malik, 39, shot to fame across the UK, after he was beaten, handcuffed and arrested by the London police during the riots of 2001. He consistently targeted Tony Blair’s decision to support invasion of Iraq. Shahid has been appointed as a parliamentary under-secretary at the Department for International Development (DFID).

Just what Britain needs a man in parliament who hates the country. Well what can we say, we have one too in Keith Ellison from Minnesota.
We can say what were the Brits thinking, but not without saying ,what were Minnesotans thinking.?

This is insane.

As if appeasement or capitulation has EVER mollified the barbaric Mahometan savages.

Rather, it has only ever emboldened them.

I think in the end all of this was predictable and inevitable, you only have to look at the demographic situation in both our countries and you'll eventually come to the conclusion that in 20/30 years time the balance will be altered considerably so it's not so much the mechanical bombs that will do the damage but the demographic one.

What are we supposed to do about that one I ask?

As much as I hate to say this I think we're losing the demographic war fast and statistics prove it, so just one question I have to ask, who let all these people in Britain in the first place and was it worth it??

The demographic situation is why I mainly stopped being a libertarian, although I still think some of the principles work anytime.

But freedom doesn’t do much when other peoples massively outbreed you, then take over and impose their totalitarian vision on your nation. Because population growth is exponential it really doesn’t take very long to dramatically alter the balance. Lebanon not long ago was Israel’s northern Christian ally.

Guess we won’t have any allies in Great Britain any longer.

Pakistani harbors camps that train terroists!

‘We can say what were the Brits thinking, but not without saying ,what were Minnesotans thinking.?’

I don’t recall us Brits being asked by Brown whether this was a suitable appointment. The only Brit to blame for this is Brown.

‘Are the Brits turning French?’

The Democrats have always been french and America elected them in both houses. What does that say about America?

Your first mistake was Catholic emancipation .... < /sarcasm>

Bring back the Test Act!

Seriously, though, some sort of Test Act style vetting of all the Muzzies in Britain is needed. If the British Muzzies won't sort themselves out, then they've no right to complain if it's done rather more crudely by ordinary Britons who don't undestand the finer points of Muzzieness. It's the one thing everyone's afraid to say -- demonstrate your loyalty by giving up the bad guys amongst your community, or face the rest of the country doubting your loyalty and separating all of you from the community (putting you where you can be no danger) until we sort you out at our leisure, however long it takes.

I agree - imagine emancipating a religious group who’ve spent 300 years sending armies to stifle your free speech and independence! Thank God the catholic armies sent against us always lost to a smaller English force! ;-)

Good idea, but all these recent bombers have been foreign muslims, not Brits. I read the other day that the US has 2.1m african-americans who have converted to islam. That’s more than our total muslim population! You’re really going to have to watch that lot as converts are always far more trouble and much harder to spot!

Every English-speaking child in the world should read Fox's Book of Martyrs bianually. And Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November....

Ya think? Oh, indeed, they're a real threat. I once met Elijah Mohammad, founder of the Nation of Islam ("Black Muslims", at the 1964 Republican Convention in San Francisco, of all places. Dangerous lot, but did have a strong preference for expensive limousines....

Definitely, though my catholic friends take part in bonfire night with great enthusiam to their credit, at least until I tease them and call it annual papist burning night! :)

‘Ya think? Oh, indeed, they’re a real threat.’

Well it might be old news to you, but it would surprise most Brits who are largely unaware of that group and their aims.
