So, this OB/GYN thinks that having an ultrasound of your baby violates the basic right to have the information you want to have? Did I read that correctly???

In any other surgical procedure, from a root canal to open heart surgery, the patient is shown x-rays,ultrsounds and any other imagery that can be obtained about the area in question. Why is abortion the only procedure where the patient is kept in the dark

Just the other day I read this story how ancient peoples would throw their babies to be burned alive in a fire to appease the god Moloch and I said to myself “I am so glad we are a very modern, enlightened, and sophisticated people and society and would never, ever do that type of thing....”

The BASIC RIGHT to have the information I want to have. Sweet, I’ll have to check the Bill of Rights on this one, but I’m down with this.
Every time Hillary opens her mouth, and I inadvertently hear her, I’m going to sue her for a violation of my BASIC RIGHTS.
Al Gore - I’ve heard about the Inconvenient Truth. Not only is it inconvenient, I don’t want to know. It’s a basic right of mine and you have been violating my rights.
Do you think Edwards will take the case? I heard he likes specious lawsuits...

IMO, viewing an ultrasound could spare the young woman years of guilt and remorse once she realizes that she did not eliminate an “unviable tissue mass” but instead aborted a real baby. The pro-choicers do not want pregnant woman who are considering abortion to have the whole truth because they will “choose life”.

I think it is a wonderful tool, and it is the least a mother could do before having her child ripped to shreds. Anything to save lives.

I think she is referring to the fact that the information will be required (ie the woman won't have a choice as to whether or not she wants to be informed. You know this is the pro-choice crowd LOL. If they (the abortion industry) are correct and a "fetus" isnt yet a person, what harm would it do to show that? I think they should also require a woman seeking an abortion to view a live birth (especially if her baby is viable) and an abortion filmed at her stage of pregnancy. But alas, abortion must be shrouded in lies to keep it palatable to the masses. Actually I just think it should be outlawed altogether but common sense with law makers seems to be a thing of the past.

Actress Patricia Heaton (of “Raymond” fame) gave $1.5 million of her own money to buy 3D Ultrasound machines for clinics to discourage women from having abortions. God bless her. That is $1.5 million more than so-called pro-life George W. Bush has proposed to spend (in addition to his not cutting a single penny from the $262 million federal subsidies to Planned Parenthood).

I can attest to the life saving power of ultrasounds. Since 2004 my group has done fundraising to help CPCs acquire six of these machines. They tell us of the impact the images have on the mothers to be.
I also want to say that anyone or any group can do fundraising for your local CPC and its quite simple. I posted the steps that we found most effective on my site http://cpforlife.org/id157.htm Feel free to Freepmail me with any questions.

Before you are two sealed tanks each with a small vent at the top. One tank is empty, the other contains a small beautiful child. You’re required to fill one and only one tank with water. Would you like to know which tank encloses the child?
