” Sky News Live is sticking with the hospital controlled demo story. “
Okay, thanks...
Just saw FNC bring it back after a short hiatus, too....
Maybe it’s just the reportage that feels ‘odd’ to me — It would seem to me that, in a week pretty well defined by car bombings, a “controlled explosion” of a car in a hospital parking lot would be a bigger deal.....

“The Brit officials are really downplaying this one heard a quote on FNC that they blew up the car out of an abundance of caution....
Im probably a bit naive about these things, but, to my way of thinking, blowing up a car is a bit more drastic than an abundance of caution....
More here than meets the eye??”
Not sure if American law enforcement approach things differently to ours here, but a controlled explosion of a potential threat is not at all unusual, especially at times of high alert. I was in a traffic jam approaching the Severn Bridge last week while the motorway was closed whle police blew up a suspcious package.
This is nothing new, I remember getting into conversation with some rather distraught American tourists at Victoria Station about 20 years ago who, straight from the plane at Heathrow, had left their cases and went off to get something to eat. By the time they returned their luggage had been exploded.
That was my very first thought when I saw that photo.
BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM
“Freeze!”
” If the story had a blond nympho or a missing white chick, you would see more coverage. “
Point taken.... ;~)
you think this is the reaction to speech brown gave? please.. these sorts of things are planned for months at a time... brown could have spoken like rambo or the telle tubbies and this would still have occured.
There alway is. Life does not exist in transparancy. I truly wish life did though (exist in transparancy), victory would be much easier.
as long as the enemy didn't have equal or similar power....
- Glasgow Police Chief states they are getting 100 calls per hour and the investigation is very “dynamic”.
- Police want any sightings of the Jeep over the last few days.
- Police say they need to use caution in their public statements due to “due process’ considerations.

its the same in almost every european capital.
i think the muslims are encircling the europe capitals so that one day in the near-future the sack of europe will begin.
who’s going to fight them? in the youthier age-ranges, the majority of people are muslim not euro-ethnics.
“More Moslems came, and soon a small mosque was built, which attracted yet others. As long as Zoroastrians remained in the majority, their lives were tolerable; but once the Moslems became the more numerous, a petty but pervasive harassment was apt to develop. This was partly verbal, with taunts about fire-worship, and comments on how few Zoroastrians there were in the world, and how many Moslems, who must therefore posses the truth; and also on how many material advantages lay with Islam. The harassment was often also physical; boys fought, and gangs of youth waylaid and bullied individual Zoroastrians. They also diverted themselves by climbing into the local tower of silence and desecrating it, and they might even break into the fire-temple and seek to pollute or extinguish the sacred flame. Those with criminal leanings found too that a religious minority provided tempting opportunities for theft, pilfering from the open fields, and sometimes rape and arson. Those Zoroastrians who resisted all these pressures often preferred therefore in the end to sell out and move to some other place where their co-religionists were still relatively numerous, and they could live at peace; and so another village was lost to the old faith.”

I won’t be dropping them off and would ask if anyone has noted a change in security here in the US?
I suspect we may be getting back to vehicle searches again in the States over the Fourth of July holiday.
Any confirmation?
i visited israel in 1998 and was at the western wall... someone had left a bag laying around.. they cleared the area by so-many yards and then a sniper from one of the roof-tops destroyed the bag from a distance.
