But Rupert Murdoch is no saint; he is to propriety what the Marquis de Sade was to chastity. When it comes to money and power he's carnivorous: all appetite and no taste. He'll eat anything in his path. Politicians become little clay pigeons to be picked off with flattering headlines, generous air time, a book contract or the old-fashioned black jack that never misses: campaign cash. He hires lobbyists the way Imelda Marcos bought shoes, and stacks them in his cavernous closet, along with his conscience; this is the man, remember, who famously kowtowed to the Communist overlords of China, oppressors of their own people, to protect his investments there. The ambitious can't resist his blandishments, Nor his power to get or keep them in office where they can return his favors.

I love it. The libs are just losing it, and losing it, and losing it. Hopefully, the public is listening.

What is PBSs share of ratings vs. Foxs? The Green Eyed Monster called envy has him by the family jewels and control of his tongue.

Hey, Bill, how is this different from your heroes, the Klintons, or Mr. Fonda, of CNN?

Murdoch himself said the greatest thing to come out of the war would be "$20 a barrel for oil."While Moyers himself probably thinks $70 a barrel too low by half.
What a hole. Not that I have any love for Murdoch, either.

In this attack ad from 1964, produced by Bill Moyers
and aimed at Barry Goldwater, the little girl picking at a
daisy is about to be blown up by an atomic bomb.

“one of the most disgraceful exhibitions of liberal bias so far this year.”
bias? this is a polemic, not under any guise of news reporting.

I love it. The libs are just losing it, and losing it, and losing it. Hopefully, the public is listening. Right. The libs lost the House, lost the Senate, and may "lose" the White House. Unfortunately, the public is listening and are too stoopid to reject socialism. Thank God W gave us a conservative Supreme Court.

Moyers is Soros's sock puppet. see The Shadow Party by Horowitz and Poe, p.240 for instance. "Bill Moyers is one of Soros' closest confidants and political collaborators, a former trustee of the Open Society Institute. It was Moyers who helped Soros orchestrate the campaign for the mccain- feingold legislation that opened the door for the shadow party's power grab in 2004. During the 2004 campaign, only three men had frequent access to Soros, and Bill Moyers was one of them, along with Shadow Party operatives Harold ickes and Peter Lewis."

We must bare in mind that more people heard about this story by reading it in FR than saw it on PBS. Bill Moyers is to put it bluntly “IRRELEVENT” , as are most of what passes for news on this silly liberal propaganda network. That needs to go the way of Air America.

"What is PBSs share of ratings vs. Foxs?" Fox News has to make money to stay on the air so ratings are very important.
PSB needs no money from advertisers since our tax dollars is what pays them to spew this crap.
Obviously you knew these things but it bears repeating.
Bill Moyers is an partisan hack, has no journalism skills and is best suited for the editorial pages of the New York Times.

Bill Moyers is the quintessential drama queen with a flair for the melodramatic.
