A local news story about an effort to raise the profile of political prisoners in Cuba. The Police are playing in Miami on July 10th and are reported to be playing a concert in Havana in December. Sting has been outspoken about human rights (in places like Chile and South Africa) but has never mentioned Cuba (where he vacationed in January).

Don't hold your breath on this one, folks. When it comes to old Fidel, the only thing you'll hear are the crickets chirping.
I wonder if they’ll have enough juice to power up that show in Havana? I suppose they could just be “unplugged”.
If you read that, you'll get an exact picture of what is going to happen here with Sting and Cuba.
If you were Mr. Sting and could afford to vacation (go on Holiday) anywhere on the planet, why would you choose Cuba?
Don’t hold your breath and expect any pop music star(s) to actually know what is going on in the world, or anything that went on in it’s history. None of them ever got out of grade school, and never paid attention to what the teacher was trying to teach while they were in it. They were too busy trying to memorize how to play 3 different cords, and figure out how many grams there were in an ounce so they could impress their friends by selling pot by the gram.
The ones who lead off the band counting 1-2-3-4- are the ones who dropped out in grade nine, the 1-2-3- guys are grade 7 ‘graduates’.
He heard that one could get a good buzz on Cuban pot.
Awww, but why let some pretty awsome beaches go to waste! So what if those people are starving, my vacation is awsome!!
And they have "free health care" (while American moonbats are around)
Is “Sting” his entire name? If so, then as John Wayne would say, that’s only half a name.
The Left loves Castro. Can someone tell me why?
