As Mark Twain might say, reports of the Immigration Bill's death have been highly exaggerated.
The bill might have been killed for the second time, but today's Wall Street Journal reports that at least three key parts of it may still have life (one of which, the Dream Act, I've previously written about). Yes, it's like Freddy Kruger. The bill never completely dies. These, too, must be killed:
It ain't over 'til it's over.
I'm glad I just got a small raise so I can save my pennies for NumbersUSA and Grassfire.org and such. lol! I think over the break I'll also make a dart board. Or one of those serial killer collages...
a fax might become a good investment, lol!
“Its sickening....WTH is wrong with them?”
It’s really simple, but kinda hard to get your emotions around it: they are corrupt as hell, and don’t give a damn about what’s good for the country.
They are in it for the power and money.
People like Bloomberg don’t spend millions of their own money for the opportunity to “give something back to this country that has given so much to me”.
They do it because they expect to make a LOT of money off that investment.
Public Servants? Right.
Lol, Nic! (laughing man)
New Decree 29 June
No faxes for the masses.

Your Lords
I know.....these people can all rot in hell.
lol!
*gasp* - you said a bad word
*guilty*
I’m po’d!
I think the worst part is the AgBill, it would “give legal permanent residency”: SOUNDS A WHOLE LOT LIKE ‘AMNESTY’, to ME.
The Wall Street Journal is no longer a credible reporter of immigration issues.
“Yeah...but can they speak hindi?”
Don’t get me started! :-(
It's like the old Asteroids arcade game. You blast the big asteroid and it breaks into smaller, faster asteroids that are hard to track and harder to hit.
1. Go to Hillary's campaign appearances and ask her the questions on this video.
2. Upload her response (if she can manage one) to Youtube.
3. Promote it here and elsewhere.
While calling might help, that's a much, much more effective technique. If someone actually did that, expect her and others to drop the DREAM.
Why is citizenship necessary for Ag workers. For decade after decade, the Ag workers always came to California for the growing, picking, and canning seasons, and then when those seasons were over, THEY WOULD RETURN HOME. Nobody minded that at all. Then after the 1986 AMNESTY DEBACLE, more, and more, and more, of them decided that, since AMNESTY would eventually be granted to them if they stayed, they stayed, and stayed, and more, and more, came, and more, and more, tayed.
Let’s return to the way it used to be. There wasn’t anything wrong with it. Seasonal Work Visas are fine, but they have to return home. NO CITIZENSHIP.
