Sue Wilkinson, 53, a university professor, was married for 17 years before the relationship ended in divorce.
She has now been with her female partner, Celia Kitzinger for the same length of time.
The couple married in 2003 in Canada, where same-sex unions are legal. Last year they lost a High Court battle to have their marriage recognised in Britain.
Ms Wilkinson, Professor of Feminist and Health Studies at Loughborough University, said: I was never unsure about my sexuality throughout my teens or 20s. I was a happy heterosexual and had no doubts. Then I changed, through political activity and feminism, spending time with womens organisations. It opened my mind to the possibility of a lesbian identity.

Whoa! Her hubby dodged a bullet!
I particularly like this line:
“My husband took it very badly.
Hey, thanks for caring!
I suppose she’ll will be made a bishop in the Episcopal church next
There is the nub of the issue; maybe we ALL have a choice. Just as everyone is a substance abuser, one could say everyone is bisexual. The majority of people choose heterosexuality; the odd minority choose to be something else. Odd also, is how the choice of sexuality ties in strongly with other neuroses such as narcissism, exhibitionism, sadism, masochism, etc.?
Mr. B, Amen. My wife married a Conservative, and she’s a very happy woman.
That's because you **** one **** and you're always a **********....
That looks like a guy in drag!
“I wonder the same thing about the men who marry, raise a family, and then 20 years later suddenly “discover” they’re gay, abandon their family and change their orientation.”
My best friend’s father did that.....he died from aids!
There are battered women who leave all relationships with men because “they are abusers”. Then they wind up in a physically abusive relationship with a lesbian and realize that feminist speech is sexist in nature.
They both are quite manish, wouldn’t you say?
She sure it wasn't her "fuglyism"?
Who could gave guessed that carpet munching could be “taught”.
LOL
“I was a happy heterosexual and had no doubts.”
ONLY a woman with reason to doubt would or could say such a thing.
There are on other options to a person who is actually hetro, hence no questions. Also, no one who doesn’t feel attraction to the same sex could tolorate gay sex.
This womans self serving delusion is pathetic.
***there you have it, an admission that feminism is a gateway to lesbianism. These people are actively recruiting, make no mistake. Its all part of a plan to feminize and homsexualize this country. Tolerance my foot.***
Say it again, Sam.
alternate thread title: ‘The Case for Burkhas’
It sounds like the feminazis recruited her. While some may have an inclination towards the same sex they didn’t choose, others get sucked in due to their environment, and others yet choose the lifestyle. There is a website called queersforchoice.com or something like that. Regardless, it is a CHOICE whether or not to engage in that behavior.
The picture of those two women make me want to hurl.
OK! Which one plays the feminine role.
